Our backyard has a 6-foot wooden privacy fence with an added "Houdini" fence topper. Even the most creative dogs will not be able to escape. We also have a sofa and patio umbrella for people to lounge while their dogs play. Water, poop bags, and trash can provided.

We're at the end of the Cul-de-sac. Still learning the ropes and enjoying meeting guests if I'm here! I have a kitty, but he has hiding spots, and guests rarely see him since he has escape routes. The neighbor to the south just signed up (chain link side) so you may see a pup there.

We moved back to the KC recently and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. The back has a few smaller enclosed spaces, feel free to use any and all. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport are poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing or if trash cans are full! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. We have turned off the water spigots for the season, but happy to leave out a pitcher of water if you'd like! We don't have lighting in the backyard, but we can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed. For the pups, we have water, tennis balls, rope pulls, agility fun and large toy balls! For the humans, we have benches, a hammock chair in one corner, a full hammock in another corner (hammocks are in storage bin), a swing bench up front and a picnic table in the center! In the storage bin is hand sanitizer, poo bags, and band aids as well. (Please note that the hammocks are kept in the storage unit in the park. Nice large, open yard for lots of running around. Quiet setting with frequent deer sightings. There is a kiddie pool for the dogs to splash in, seasonally. There are multiple seating areas for humans in both sunny and shady spots: a glider at the back of the yard by the pool, seating in the garden and ample seating on the large deck with another glider. Please feel free to utilize the deck. We do not enter the sunroom that is up against the deck when guests are here.
