My dogs had a blast
Easy to find and good directions on what to do. Our dogs had a blast! Thank you so much for accommodating us.
Host replied: I am so glad you were able to find it. I know it can be tricky so I tried to work hard to give good directions on the post. I hope you come back
My dog really enjoyed this Sniffspot. However, we didn’t get to really explore much of the acreage—there aren’t really any maintained trails through the wooded area, which seem to take up most of the 10 acres. There was also some miscommunication about whether the gate would be unlocked.
Host replied: you are correct there are not trails on the property. The woods are not overgrown but there are NO groomed TRAILS, It is natural. There are 3 acres of maintained areas. Regarding the gate, There are considerable details regarding how to maneuver it in the property profile. I worked hard to make it as clear as possible. The one gate will always be locked. I am sorry if you were confused and it took from your sense of enjoyment.
It is a nice property, and the dogs enjoyed running. It is mostly tall grass/trees, and the area with short grass had a decent amount of stuff laying on it. There was what I am guessing was a burn bit with tons of molds of teeth, which was a bit of a surprise. Overall though, we didn’t enjoy our time there.
Host replied: I had to chuckle a little when I saw the picture of the old stone models. Bet that was creeping walking up to. Did you start imagining a boogie man coming out of the woods?? I would have for sure. I might have even run. I hope you go back and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
Really nice property. There was no house in it just land. There are no fences to speak of and it worried us a bit when our dog went of running after something. Good thing she did not go on the road. Probably not ideal for dogs that wander off
Host replied: Sounds like you didn't wonder up the hill. B there are no roads for several acres up there
Had a nice time with the pups.
Host replied: how yu go back and enjoy it this fall. I hope in the next few weeks to finally get the extra building materials removed.
Dogs had a great time. Nice mix of open space and woods, shade and sun. Dogs picked up a lot of ticks crashing around in the brush, but that wasn’t unexpected. Would come back with a picnic next time!
Host replied: your babies are so adorable. I am loving the pics of the dogs enjoying it
This property is for the adventurous type! Be sure to wear your bug prevention because there are lots of tall grasses, weeds, and plants to wade through. The dogs absolutely loved a piece of country living! Please be aware, the gate does not open, so you’ll need to park in front of it and walk around it to enter. I’m sharing photos of some things that could be considered a little dangerous, just so you’re aware that these things are on the property.
Host replied: Thank you for your note about the gate. I think that small hurdle throw people off at first. I've improved my instructions
My pups were exhausted and happy! Overall, it was great. The human was a little disappointed. The description has since been updated about the closed gate. It's nerve wracking walking onto someone else's property, let alone when you're told the gate is open, but after driving 40 minutes it's closed. We only found one creek, and access was blocked by barbed wire going along the property perimeter where it was. Hilltop has a small section of maintained grass the rest is more like a tall brush field, not like in the pictures. Again, pups had a blast, I would have prepared differently had I know.
Host replied: I hope you will go back this fall and winter and enjoy it also
The gate was locked, we were unable to enter.
Host replied: thankyou for your feedback - I worked to make the details of how to manage the gate more visible. I hope you will go back nd enjoy the beauty this fall and winter. A LARGE PAINTED METAL GATE is affixed to TWO LARGE STONE MASS PILLARS. It's your best indicator that you're at the right property. The gate is decorated with chipping green and blue paint. As of May 2023, it is NOT ABLE TO OPEN EASILY (needs to be reworked) You can safely PARK RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE GATE. You will be off-street on our private drive. Then walk around the right stone pillar to enter.

I have three furbabies myself, who greatly love roaming, running and sniffing all around. I love watching them chase each other on the less tep hillside.
