We have 5 acres of land that is fully enclosed with a fence. Roughly 1.5 acres - 2 acres is cleared land, perfect for running and activity. The remainder is forested. We reside next to a nature preserve, so wild animal encounters can occur. We have seen bears, coyotes, and snakes. Most of these occur in the morning time. The fence up front has some larger holes that a small dog could get through, but this is far away from the primary area located in the back. There are plants toxic to dogs around the house, so it is probably best to remain in the open areas.

There is a fenced dog area where dogs can do their business. Please do not allow dogs to poop in the open areas near the pathway or fire pit. If your dog does happen to poop there, please, please, please clean it up right away. There is a water pump available where you can fill water for your dog, but please bring your own dog bowl.
