55If 700+ well-earned, stellar reviews aren't enough to convince you that this spot is THE spot, mine probably won't, either. The expectation that Mike, the host sets, is exactly what you get. The property is beautiful and every detail was considered. The poo station is clean and odorless (not sure how they do that considering the time of year) and the bags are purple. Have you ever seen purple poo bags? Neither have I. There are plenty of balls and frisby’s to throw, lots of shade, a water spigot and I couldn't find a single other pile to pick up (if you know you know). It’s a sanctuary. What I wasn't expecting, however, was the epiphany I had as we were leaving. The world isn't particularly kind to reactivity, especially in large dogs and our 8yr old 60lb pit is all that this world loves to hate. It’s not Aphro’s fault, the first 4yrs of her life she was a puppy mill, she then developed cancer and then abandoned at a shelter because she was no longer profitable. Yesterday was the happiest we’ve seen her in the 4 yrs we've had her. She wasn't stressed or anxious, she didn't have to worry about protecting us as there were no perceived threats. She was able to just be a dog. Point is, Mike is a saint and every dog deserves to feel that freedom all the time. We don't deserve dogs. Thanks for reading, I hope this resonates with somebody.
55Clean, safe with lots of space to explore. It was easy to find with great directions. Loved the shaded areas available to sit. Will do many return visits!

Description

Our Sniffspot is on approximately 2 acres and is completely fenced in. Access the pasture in the north gate. Drive into the pasture and then close the gate behind you. Then let those fur babies run. Next to the barn is a table & 2 chairs. Water is available under the deck, please bring your own bowl. Please use the trash can to clean up after your pups. Please book your reservation during daylight hours. Obviously this will change based on time of year. Our house color is barnyard red and the gates are past the house. You are welcome to use the entire backyard & pasture. We have a kids playground, horse shoes, & various seating. We want you to enjoy the great outdoors just like we have! 🦮🐶👏

Please book during daylight hours. This will adjust seasonally. We have a poop station with poop bags & a trash container. Please pick up after your pups and maybe one more that someone missed! Park inside our pasture but avoid driving through to save the grass. Thank you, have a great time 🐶
