55My doggies loved the pool and the big backyard !
55The pool and the property was Lovely pool has a shallow end and which once my dog figured it out could get in and out easier he also jumped off the side. The yard is also lovely. Yes, there are areas near the edge that have equipment and stuff, yeah, both of those areas were blocked off and I walked to the whole property with my dog. I did try to walk him on lead by the chickens, but I guess it was too hot for them to come out. He had a great time and so did I. There are also nice areas of shade for relaxing in between activities. Loved it thank you for having us Brianna.
45My pup had a great time at this Sniffspot! There was plenty of grass space for her to run and explore, she loved watching the chickens, and the clean swimming pool was perfect for cooling off. One end of the pool has a built-in ledge/seat that made it easy for her to enter the water, and it was shallow enough on that end of the pool for my big dog to comfortably stand and walk around before swimming in the deeper end of the pool. One thing to be aware of is that, as other reviews have mentioned, there is a junkyard with various items along parts of the property’s perimeter. With the taller grass in those areas, I wasn’t always sure what might be hidden underneath, so I kept my dog away from the edges to avoid any potential injuries. As long as you’re mindful of that, it’s a fun spot with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy.
25This is a large yard grassy area in a semi rural surrounding, beautiful and with great potential. The fence is complete with no obvious gaps. The center piece is the swimming pool, which is really nice, clear water with circulation and no debris. The pool is easy for dogs to get in with a shallow end in which a large dog can stand but slopes into a deeper end where swimmers can swim, is a good size for fun, but small enough for dogs to be safe even without a flotation device. The yard has a large expanse for dogs to run. There is a chicken coop that adds a center of interest. The low point is quite a bit of debris scattered around with plenty of sharp edged objects like metal sheet and boards with nails sticking out. The grass is also long in some areas, which doesn’t help to ease concerns about hidden objects. With good clean up this site could turn into a great spot for puppies to have safe fun.
55We loved visiting this yard and pool. My four dogs had a great time. Thanks again!
55Me & the dogs had a great time. We will be back !
55Wonderful spot for our dog! The space and pool were nice and quiet and spacious

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!
