55Really sweet property with lots of interesting stuff for your dog to explore and sniff. It was a real treat for my city dog. Host was kind and welcoming. It was very nice to be able to stand back and watch my boy get to move freely and just be a dog. We did see and hear the next-door neighbors dog on the other side of the fence line for part of our hour and a half stay
45It was a nice place. For some reason I didn’t realize we’d be visiting someone’s front yard, I thought it was a trail in their backyard by the woods, regardless there was plenty for Blue to sniff. The host’s dog accidentally got out and greeted Blue. It’s fine, accidents happen. But had we not spent the entire summer reactivity training and greeting training, it could have turned into an unpleasant experience. After his dog went back inside, Blue was able to fully relax and enjoy the yard.
55Aaron and Jeanine, (family member) were amazing. Very responsive and on-site to greet us. They had the cutest personalized welcome message with a special bag of treats for Panda, human snacks, water, bug spray, and poop bags. A great space to walk, run, take pictures, relax, and train. The neighbors have well-trained dogs who barked when they became aware of Panda but did not hop over the short-height fence line. I will definitely be back.

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

🌳🌲Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and would love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Wynshire Woods includes over a mile of trails, fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, and ravines to explore. Our 49 acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 of a mile off of the road with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of our driveway. We have over a mile of beautiful trails through hills and trees, with a short and long trail option. The long trail is about a mile long and takes 40-60 minutes to walk. The short trail is closer to 1/3-1/2 miles and takes around 25 minutes to walk. Take a break at the top of the first hill and relax in the hammock, taking in the peaceful nature around you. This is a great spot to bring a snack or picnic! We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells throughout the woods- we have wild turkey, deer, many small wild animals to see, and and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. This is a completely unfenced property. We ask that all dogs are leashed or have a training collar for recall, as wildlife and farm animals are abundant on our property. Dogs MUST be safe with free range chickens and ducks i.e. NOT chase/hurt them. Part of the trail does go past our fenced goat area. We do have 4 dogs who are contained to an invisible fence which does not have access to the trails. As long as your dog does not come into their area, there will be no other dog interactions on our property.
