Fully Fenced Private Yard (centrally located near SDSU)

Chain link on both sides allows views into neighbors’ yards, both of whom have dogs and one of whom have kids. They are rarely in their yards. The back of the yard that borders the canyon is a wooden fence which you cannot see through. You need to park at the bottom of the hill on a different street and walk up the path to access the back of the yard and I will leave the gate unlocked for you. I will send more detailed directions when you book. Do not park in front of my house. I will ensure my dogs are inside when sniff spots are booked but if they see your dogs out the window they may bark. I will leave out some bowls of water and per your request can fill a kiddie pool with water for swimming at the top of the hill closest to my house. You will not have hose access. Please do not enter the astroturf section of my backyard that borders the house and has a separate fence.

Toys, ball pit, agility course and ample zoomie space for your dog(s) to make their visit “practically perfect in every way”! They will have radio on and be kept secure inside with air conditioning/ heating as needed. Please respect their space and do not attempt to enter the kennel. Hi! My husband and I have a home on a third of acre on a small quiet cul-de-sac in the hills of La Mesa. The backyard is very large and is terraced, so it’s great for exercising dogs or sniffing around (lots of great smells). There are also many fruit trees you are welcome to (orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and fig). We also have a pergola with 4 chairs and a fire pit. Lots of shade is provided by our pecan and jacaranda trees most of the year. The backyard ground is a mixture of brick pavers, gravel, and mulch. We have several hoses throughout the yard that you’re welcome to use as much as you want. There is an empty koi pond that can be used as a splash pool for dogs too with our hoses. We also have outdoor electrical outlets and strong WiFi if needed. It’s a hillside home so there are great views of Mt. Helix and even the ocean on clear days. It’s a wonderful quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors!
