Description

You may enter the yard via the mid-driveway gate accessed from the driveway or the porch gate accessed from the ramp. (If you use the upper porch gate via the ramp, please lift as you open it. Also be aware that using that gate will cause resident dogs to “alert” us to your arrival. If you’ve booked pool usage, enter via the backyard pool gate. Feel free to use the balls and toys in the yard! You may invite our dogs to play! Nala is 30lbs and will be shy at first but loves to run and play with other dogs. Message me if your dog would like a playmate! There is a water spigot the porch near the gate, and there should be a bowl on the porch as well (it’s not under/near the spigot it may have been moved by the wind. It should be nearby!) Thank you so much for enjoying our yard!

Hazards

Though unlikely, it is possible for a dog to jump up onto the stonework by the driveway and then down outside of the fence to the driveway. (I’ve seen it happen one time!) Just be aware of the possibility! Typical of a residential yard like this, there will be a couple of small holes or dips in the grass from either wildlife or other dogs. Occasional muddy patches in the bare spots in winter when grass is dormant.

Additional rules

Pool use requires purchasing the “pool use” add on when booking which allows 1 dog and 1 human for 1 hour. Additional dogs and humans can be added as well. **if booking more than 2 dogs I require you to come after 4pm so that the filter can clear the fur by the next morning.**

	Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the spot.
	Make sure the area is safe and secure before bringing your dog in.
	Never enter a spot before your booking start time and never leave late.
	Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.
	Always review and abide by spot specific rules.
	Unless otherwise stated, restrooms are not available on site.

There was dog poop all over the yard, I had to be careful where I stepped.
Host replied: I’m so sorry! I had overnight guests through the weekend. I gave the yard clean up job to a teen and clearly I was let down. Won’t happen again, I hope you’ll come back out.

The fenced in part of the yard and the fenced in pool are both amazing - lovely view, quiet area, private. It took me a minute to realize the yard and pool were fenced in separately - my dog is a runner so I walked her from one area to the other on leash. Thank you so much, it was a great afternoon!
