Come and let your hairy friend test the limits of our yard. We have grass, we have dirt, rocks, trees and flowers. There's a lot to explore and sniff. We have a playground for kids, so you can bring them too. We just added a little pool with a waterhose just for your doggies. We have a dog shampoo, nail clips, and brushes for you to use as well. We are ready!

Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.

At The Artsy Dog Place, you can take the leash off and let your puppy enjoy the freedom of exploring while you tap into your own artistic talents. Art supplies are available at no extra cost, allowing you to unleash your creativity while your dog scampers up and down the hill. Leave your mark on our community shed—a message, a signature, or a whimsical drawing—or paint a rock to add to our growing collection! It’s a place where dreams take shape, fostering a sense of togetherness and inspiration. Thoughtfully designed with your pet’s safety in mind, the park is securely fenced, with two sides at 6 feet and the other two at 4 and 5 feet, ensuring your dog can play freely and safely. As you enjoy the serene surroundings, you might hear chickens, roosters, and goats in the distance or catch glimpses of squirrels and hawks. Nature truly thrives here! When you arrive, simply park horizontally next to the fence and enter through the black metal door, which will be open for your convenience. Doggy bags are always available, and we kindly ask that you please clean up after your dog to help keep the park beautiful for everyone. A Note on Safety and Park Care: Please be aware that ground squirrels also call our property home, so there may be some holes. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear (no heels) for your safety. To help us keep the ground safe and beautiful for all our guests, we also ask that you prevent your dog from digging, as this can create tripping hazards. We know some pups just love to dig! If your dog does make a hole, we kindly ask that you use the provided shovel to fill it in and return the area to its original condition before you leave. Rainy Day Amenities: On rainy days, our rinsing station is available to help clean up muddy paws before heading home. We also ask that you please leave any dirty tennis balls in the blue tub with soapy water, located on the other side of the fence, to keep them fresh for the next guest. Two beautiful horses have moved in next door! While they are not always visible, you might hear a friendly “hee” every now and then. To ensure a harmonious environment for everyone, we kindly request that you maintain a distance of at least 5 feet from our neighbor’s fence at the top of the property. Our neighbor values their privacy, and respecting this boundary helps us keep The Artsy Dog Place open for all to enjoy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Dog yard is right next to the barnyard animals so each can see and sniff without interacting. They will enjoy meeting alpacas, goats, pigs, turkeys and more. Dog toys, balls, kiddie pool, water bowls, poop bags, outdoor sink for hand washing and plenty of comfortable seating under a huge shady tree. Enjoy a swing and hammock while your dog plays. Do you love hiking or walking your pup in a natural setting with loads of smells and places to explore?! Then you’ll love our yard- with extra big boulders for the whole family to enjoy climbing or places to rest and listen to the sounds of nature. A few “heads up” about our spot: - the path to get to backyard is a bit steep. 👟Perhaps plan to wear appropriate footwear🙃 -like most places in San Diego there’s a possibility of snakes and we did have a recent sighting, so please use caution - the fencing on bottom right of yard is a different material, but still secure without any ways for pups to get out, but it can at times shift with weather and may be more possibilities for a pup to go under (I try and check often)🌿 - on the bottom left of the yard their are fire stick succulents🌱 on my neighbors property-the sap of these plants are toxic, so best to stay away! -lastly, if you are planning to come on a weekend morning- our neighbors typically play pickle ball at this time which can be a bit noisy and a distraction to some pups- they’re usually done by 11am. Along with lots of space for play, you have the ability to add on our top deck which includes a refreshing pool & a hill the pups love to run up!
