We have a playground for kids, so you can bring them too. We just added a little pool with a waterhose just for your doggies. We have a dog shampoo, nail clips, and brushes for you to use as well. Art supplies are available at no extra cost, allowing you to unleash your creativity while your dog scampers up and down the hill. Leave your mark on our community shed—a message, a signature, or a whimsical drawing—or paint a rock to add to our growing collection! It’s a place where dreams take shape, fostering a sense of togetherness and inspiration. Thoughtfully designed with your pet’s safety in mind, the park is securely fenced, with two sides at 6 feet and the other two at 4 and 5 feet, ensuring your dog can play freely and safely. As you enjoy the serene surroundings, you might hear chickens, roosters, and goats in the distance or catch glimpses of squirrels and hawks. Nature truly thrives here! When you arrive, simply park horizontally next to the fence and enter through the black metal door, which will be open for your convenience. Doggy bags are always available, and we kindly ask that you please clean up after your dog to help keep the park beautiful for everyone. A Note on Safety and Park Care: Please be aware that ground squirrels also call our property home, so there may be some holes. We recommend wearing appropriate footwear (no heels) for your safety. To help us keep the ground safe and beautiful for all our guests, we also ask that you prevent your dog from digging, as this can create tripping hazards. We know some pups just love to dig! If your dog does make a hole, we kindly ask that you use the provided shovel to fill it in and return the area to its original condition before you leave. Rainy Day Amenities: On rainy days, our rinsing station is available to help clean up muddy paws before heading home. We also ask that you please leave any dirty tennis balls in the blue tub with soapy water, located on the other side of the fence, to keep them fresh for the next guest. Two beautiful horses have moved in next door! While they are not always visible, you might hear a friendly “hee” every now and then. To ensure a harmonious environment for everyone, we kindly request that you maintain a distance of at least 5 feet from our neighbor’s fence at the top of the property. Our neighbor values their privacy, and respecting this boundary helps us keep The Artsy Dog Place open for all to enjoy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Do you love hiking or walking your pup in a natural setting with loads of smells and places to explore?! Then you’ll love our yard- with extra big boulders for the whole family to enjoy climbing or places to rest and listen to the sounds of nature. A few “heads up” about our spot: - the path to get to backyard is a bit steep. 👟Perhaps plan to wear appropriate footwear🙃 -like most places in San Diego there’s a possibility of snakes and we did have a recent sighting, so please use caution - the fencing on bottom right of yard is a different material, but still secure without any ways for pups to get out, but it can at times shift with weather and may be more possibilities for a pup to go under (I try and check often)🌿 - on the bottom left of the yard their are fire stick succulents🌱 on my neighbors property-the sap of these plants are toxic, so best to stay away! -lastly, if you are planning to come on a weekend morning- our neighbors typically play pickle ball at this time which can be a bit noisy and a distraction to some pups- they’re usually done by 11am. You're also welcome to text me to request being notified if time slots open up. Canine Canyon Park is entirely private and safe for a unique, fun and relaxing experience. Our park is situated in a beautiful canyon with no neighboring yards to worry about. We are located in central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, and are easy to access from major freeways including the 15, 8, 163 and 52. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and explore. We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! We also offer lots of fun upgrades to add-on including a giant ball pit, kiddie pool, pup ice creams, bubble machine, puzzle toy bin, and a self-service bath station! We are open for early morning visits starting at 6am, and we have plenty of lighting for after dark visits as well! We recently purchased our home and I would love to share my backyard with your pups to help get the zoomies out or to just bask in the sun! Our yard provides a mixture of terrain including turf, grass, DG, mulch & rocks! Along with lots of space for play, you have the ability to add on our top deck which includes a refreshing pool & a hill the pups love to run up! If you’d like to wait for the heat to cool off, we have plenty of lights for nighttime fun to help the pups get a great night sleep 🌙 Please let me know if you have any questions or requests!

Large pretty garden, would love to share with others. Lots of fruit trees and veggies, we figured why not post and let others enjoy, and maybe make money for my elderly dad’s care! Please help yourself to key limes, lemons or oranges!

Fully Fenced Private Yard (centrally located near SDSU)

The chain link fence on both sides allows views into neighbors’ yards, both of whom have small dogs and one of whom has kids. They are sometimes in their yards, very hard predict when, but it’s not every day or all the time. The back of the yard that borders the canyon is a wooden fence which you cannot see through. My yard is basically a big hill with a completely flat section at the bottom so your dog can run all of the place to sniff, run up and down the hill for a challenge, or just play fetch in the flat area for an easier time.  You will need to park at the bottom of the hill on a different street and walk up the path to access the back of the yardz It’s like a bonus mini hike through the canyon. Recommend wearing sneakers or walking shoes, not sandals as there are lots of plants along trail. I will send more detailed directions when you book. Please do not go to my house at the address listed. I will ensure my dogs are inside when sniff spots are booked but if they see your dogs out the window they will bark. I will leave out bowls of water and toys, and per your request can fill a kiddie pool with water for swimming at the top of the hill closest to my house. You will not have hose/water access otherwise. There is very little shade so please be conscious of that if your dog is sensitive to the heat on hotter days! Thanks and have a great time!
