Description

We have a well marked entrance with a sign at the top of the driveway. We have paved and hard packed gravel parking areas that are mud free where you can safely park your car upon arrival. The ranch is gated so once you are on the ranch, the gate is closed. There are different areas on the ranch where you may walk around, enjoy the scenery, and play with your dog. On rainy days, if I am not teaching lessons, you may use our indoor covered arena, so you and your dog can stay dry. I participate in horse agility and have several items which might work for you as well. Please check with me. We have a climate controlled viewing room where you may take a break, or book a party. We also have a climate controlled full service restroom.

Additional rules

Please keep your dogs out of the horse pastures. Some of these horses belong to boarders. Some horses are rescues and have been abused, do not like dogs and will act accordingly. Please clean up after your dog. You may put the waste in one of our trash cans. You are welcome to take a break in our viewing room at no charge. Coffee, tea, creamer, and various sweeteners are provided. Cups are also provided. Please clean up after yourself.

My husband and I own Rusty Bar Ranch in Roy, WA. It is a 30 acre horse ranch, so it was hard to put down areas for sniff spot users because we have so much room and amenities to offer. I currently own 2 Australian Cattle dogs, who are with us full time. We have several cats but they are 100% indoors. Our property is gated so once you are on the property, the gate will be closed so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to personal belongings. The ranch is our full time business. We are licensed and insured. We have a few different play and walking areas, plus we have our fully enclosed round pen for those rainy days. We have plenty of gravel or paved parking, a full service restroom, and viewing room for dog parties, birthday parties or just a fun gathering room. I look forward to meeting you and your well mannered dog. I participate in horse agility and have many obstacles that will also work for dog. I am a Certified Horsemanship Association instructor as well as a Horse Agility Accredited Trainer and judge. Should you decide you might like a riding lesson or horse experience, come and talk to me. I customize my experiences to ability and comfort level, from never been around a horse to accomplished rider. I also own the only fully interactive riding simulator on the entire west coast.
