Welcome to our Sniffspot! My name is Julie and I am a homeschool mother of 3, who loves to garden and spend time outside! Most of all, we adore animals! We would love to share our yard with you and your fur-babies! We have fruit trees and berry bushes you are welcome to pick from! We get a ton of apples in the fall, so help yourself! Also, help yourself to snacks and drinks that I will provide prior to your arrival! We have playground equipment and games if you have any littles, and dog toys as well! Please know that I do garden, so please mind my vegetable garden if I have it planted during your visit. I will have it blocked off with small garden fencing. Dog waste bags are provided, and there is a trash can at the gate entrance that you can place them in. Thank you for taking time to visit my page. If you need absolutely anything, please reach out! We do have a stray cat that hangs out here, please be mindful of her. She is very loved, but she will leave the yard once she sees your dog, she is harmless.

Abigail's Barkyard Basecamp!

.75 acres in lovely East Asheville, convenient to town! The yard has two private gated entrances on either side of the home, perched at the top of the hill. Make yourself at home and relax on the comfy outdoor furniture by the firepit or the hammock while your pup zoomies to their heart’s content. There's plenty of dog toys for tug or toss, plus tennis balls and throwers for the Fetch Fanatics—and even a fancy pooper scooper to save your back. Our neighbors on either side do have dogs, and you may occasionally see them out and about-- but they mostly mind their own business (though the Husky on one side might yodel a hello), and all fencing is private/ not shared so there is no possible fence contact. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so an indoor bathroom is available if needed, along with WiFi if you need to stay connected during your visit. We also have two mini Aussies (one tiny, one shmedium). We'd be happy to set up a safe play date if anyone is ever interested, but they stay inside and can't see the backyard so your visit is totally private! We fully understand that sometimes you want a private dog park for a reason! There's a water hose on the back of the home to fill water bowls, as well!

#4 Fun Field for a Furry Frenzy #4- Games and Planes

This site may be muddy after a rain. This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets! - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - Please remember to bring water for you and your pets. Please No Digging! I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

#3 Fun field for a furry frenzy 3- Field of Dreams in Fletcher

1/2/26- New entrance! Just down the fence line across from the gazebo! Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fencing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. No Digging! PLEASE! All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

✨ Welcome to Our Indoor SniffSpot! ✨ After losing our original training center to the hurricane, we were incredibly fortunate to rebuild — and we’re so excited to now share this space with the community as an indoor SniffSpot when it isn’t being used for our training services. This space was created with love, resilience, and dogs in mind, and we can’t wait for you and your pup to enjoy it! Because this is a brand-new offering, we’re sure there will be a few kinks to work out along the way, and we truly appreciate your patience as we learn and grow. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any feedback, ideas, or special requests — we want this to be a great experience for everyone. 🐶 A few quick housekeeping reminders: • Please clean up after your dog. Accidents happen — no worries! Just use the provided poop bags, mop, rags, and spray to clean up. • A poop trash can and scoop are located in the dog run for your convenience. • If you use the water bowls, please empty them in the sink at the end of your reservation. • Please return the space to the way you found it, including putting any toys or equipment back in their designated spots. 📹 Security Reminder: For the safety of our guests, dogs, and facility, this space is monitored by security cameras. Click the YouTube link to see a video tour of the property as it was operating prior to the hurricane. Most everything still looks the same... We've removed a couple of tiny houses but otherwise it is as as depicted in the video. With slight changes based on season. We have 9.5 acres of pristine mountain glory We have a large unfenced Field, Shallow Creek with some small waterfalls, a spring that feeds a tiny pond, a large cleared Homesite that's away from the road moderate to difficult trails and beautiful views. The trails are moderate until you come to the areas that we had landslides, at which point, you can turn around or enjoy the difficulty it presents. Sometimes I or other guests may be on property. If you don't want any other dogs present while you're here, please confirm by text ahead of your reservation time. Thanks so much! We look forward to sharing our sweet space with you. We do not have any trash service. Please do not leave any trash of any version on property including plastic wrapped poop... you'd think that would go without saying...but experience shows it must be said.🙄 All of your activities while on property are at your own risk. About 3 acres are partially fenced (please note there are a few small openings in the fence). Plenty of room to run, play fetch, and sniff around! 🌿 Open grassy areas for running and ball games 🌊 A creek for exploring and cooling off 🌲 Shaded trails for walking and sniffing adventures 🐾 Spacious, quiet, and away from busy roads Perfect for high-energy dogs, off-leash adventures, or just a relaxing hangout in nature!

Hidden River Private Dog Park in Swannanoa, NC

We are back in action after the flood and the Swannanoa Valley where we are located is as beautiful as ever. I'm happy for our four legged friends to enjoy again our large, flat grassy fenced in area for unleashed dogs on a 20 acre farm and wedding venue (Hidden River Events) next to the Swannanoa River. Parking is just outside the fence on the grass. There is a large deck with seating for relaxing while your pup(s) play. If it has rained within 24-48 hours of your visit, the spot may be muddy (even though it is a grass pasture) so it is good to bring towels for your pup. The fenced area has no trees so, there is an umbrella provided. If you use it, make sure to close it before you depart. This is a large farm and the distance from the sniff spot to the river is a good ways. You are welcome to walk your dog on a leash to the river if you don't see any other dogs on the property or an event going on. In 2025, we are not having many, if any, weddings, so you should be good to enjoy the river. If you have questions about where to walk to go to the river or if it's ok to enjoy more than the sniffspot itself, please text me at 828-458-5740. Horses and goats reside in their own fully contained pastures on the property away from the Sniff Spot. There is a water bucket on site to refill a water bowl if the bowl is empty when you arrive. Feel free to leash your dog and take him/her down to the river to play while you are on your visit.

We are blessed and delighted to share our "spot" with you. Tranquil 21 acres. Easy to find. Located off a quiet "No outlet" road. Property is half wooded with trails, half pasture. Multiple large, grassy, fully fenced dog pastures; 4.5' high fencing. Fully fenced obedience training ring with gates, broadjumps, highjumps, and bar jump. Trails to lazy creek and around perimeter of property. Kennels, cover, chairs and fans available for use in pole barn. If you enjoy walking with your doggo(s) outside of fenced areas- there is a good bit to explore on our property. We hope you come and enjoy!
