Come enjoy our little slice of heaven! We have 8 acres fenced in with a one acre pond. The fence is pretty sturdy but does have some spots where a smaller dog could slip through. If your dog is an escape artist, please keep them leashed! We do have a 20 foot leash available for you to use. Our two dogs will remain indoors while you’re here. We do frequently see wildlife - eagles, hawks, feral cats, deer, etc. Please keep a very close eye on small dogs. Large prey birds may get the wrong idea. We’ll have a fresh bowl of water set out for you, poo bags, and hand sanitizer. Leave poo bags by the gate and we will dispose of them for you. Any special requests, just ask! 😊

John's 12 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Pleasant Valley Clay county Missouri

John's dog park is located in Clay county Missouri you go through pleasant valley to get to it. It is surrounded by Kansas City claycomo and pleasant valley but the sniff spot is actually located in Clay county Missouri it's his split by shoal Creek it has some deep areas and shallow areas for different sized dogs I am in the middle of setting up barbecue grills bonfire pits lighting it has asphalt off the road parking and you can drive your car all the way down to the spot in the woods so no need to worry about it being parked or ticketed on a city road. John's dog park is an excellent mix of the country without the drive to the country right in the middle of the city. On John's dog Park trails you also see deer turkey rabbits squirrels and much much more. There are nice cut trails to walk you and your dog will have a wonderful experience and I believe your dog well enjoy trails the timber the wide openness and the ability to run swim and play all while not being bothered by people for not having a leash although that is at your discretion and the safety of you and your dog is at your own risk although John's dog park is a very safe place to go. The property is located at the last house on a dead end road from there a private road that goes back into the woods that is asphalted and gated there's grass trees thicket mold stereos creeks waterways plenty of sunlight or shade if you need. I believe once you try it out once you will be hooked and really enjoy the property as I do myself it is always mode very nicely and cleaned up with the help of my patrons please pick up all trash and there are doggie bags provided for feces to throw in the trash We look forward to seeing you and appreciate the opportunity to make you and your canine happy Thank you sincerely, John Carter

Welcome to my dog heaven! We have trees, fields, creeks and more! We are just in the beginning phases of our project, so hang in there with us to see what we build. If the schedule is blocked, send me a message, we may just be doing work on the pasture and can schedule you in. There is old barbed wire and hot panel fencing around the whole property and we are working on making repairs. Our goal is to be 100% fully fenced. My big goals are to add a dock diving pool, agility field, FastCat events, herding and more! To start, we are building our SniffSpot!!!! I would love to share this field of about 10 acres with you and your dogs! I would strongly recommend a good recall since we are not fully fenced yet. About me, I work in vet-med and spend my free time training and competing with my malinois and kelpies.
