We are located behind a full service veterinary clinic, Brookeside Veterinary Hospital, off Warren Road in Ann Arbor, MI. There is approximately 0.5 acre that is fully fenced and a 3-5 acre field, unfenced, with paths cut through long grasses on rolling hills. You can use either or both spaces during your reserved time.

Nestled directly alongside quiet nature preserves, our property offers incredible privacy and a peaceful escape from suburban distractions. This is not a manicured suburban backyard. Instead, you will find a beautiful, rustic slice of natural country fields featuring tall seasonal grasses, thick brush, and mature trees. It is the ultimate environment for off-leash scent work, long-line recall training, gun dog or sporting breed fundamentals, or just letting a high-energy pup sprint across massive distances without the stress of a public park. To make your visit comfortable, we maintain a wide, freshly mowed walking path that loops entirely through the 5 acres, giving handlers a clean trail to walk while their dogs explore the cover alongside them. The Layout & Safety Details Acreage: 5 full acres of natural, rustic field. Fencing: UNFENCED. This spot is wide open. It is ideal for working breeds, dogs with highly reliable recall, or handlers utilizing training lines. Terrain: Natural, unmowed country field with a mowed walking loop. Please wear sturdy outdoor footwear! Because it is a natural area, we highly recommend up-to-date tick prevention for your pups. Privacy & Homestead Disclosures Total Isolation During Bookings: Your reservation is 100% private. We promise that the 5-acre field will be entirely free of other people and animals for the duration of your visit. Arrival Visibility: Because this is an active homestead, there is a chance you may briefly see us outside taking care of property chores when you first pull into the driveway. However, we will head inside or stay completely clear of the field once you arrive so you can enjoy total privacy. Acoustics: While we have no close or visible neighbors, sound can carry in the country, and you may occasionally hear a neighborhood dog barking in the far distance. Our Animals: For the complete safety and focus of your dogs, our poultry flock is kept completely secure and locked away in their enclosed run during all active bookings. Amenities Provided Dedicated, off-street parking spot right near the field entrance. A clean human seating area near the entrance. Dedicated waste station (trash can + complimentary poop bags). Fresh, clean water station and a dog bowl. Host Rules Please clean up after your pup using the provided waste station. Keep your dog secured until you are in the trail. We have chickens who spend there time around the chicken coop in the front by our home which is not visible from the trail. The neighbors home at the top of the hill is visible a bit. They are friendly and rarely home, if you dog wanders over just bring them back into yard as soon as you can Enjoy the ultimate peace and quiet!

This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and almost 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires, Agility jump poles, and an A Frame ladder). As you enter the driveway, the fully fenced areas are to the left and the open field to the right. Park by the steel barn. This is where you enter the fenced areas. The open field is mowed for walking, stay in front of the cluster of trees.

We understand the challenges of having a dog that is scared and how important is to have a place in which you can relax and enjoy him/her/them instead of being hypervigilant looking for triggers 24/7. And moreover, we want your dog(s) to have a place in which he/she/they can be happy and have fun instead of being constantly looking for triggers and feel stressed out. Here you will see no triggers (but a chicken or turkey here and there, which would probably add to the enrichment experience) We hope you can relax and enjoy playing with your dog and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. As extras, your dog(s) will still be able to smell different animals like deer, turkey, squirrels, snakes, frogs, and also play in our small agility area. You will not have to see any dogs while being here, no worries we have you cover. Welcome to Our Hidden Gem Next to the B2B Trail! Our private, fully fenced dog park is the perfect place for your pup to run free, explore, and just be a dog. Conveniently located right off the B2B trail and across the street from Timber Town, this spot offers a unique mix of nature, enrichment, and fun. Upon arrival, you’ll find a designated parking spot and a peaceful trail that winds around the back of the property to the park entrance. Along the way, you’ll pass our duck enclosure and pond—feel free to stop and say hi! If you'd like to feed the ducks, they love shredded lettuce or diced cucumbers (please, no bread). At the end of the trail, you’ll find a double-gated entry with a separate area for leashing and unleashing your dog safely. Inside, your pup will have the freedom to explore about a quarter-acre of fenced-in space, featuring fun enrichment structures like a dog bridge and stacked hay bales for climbing, sniffing, and playing. This space is ideal for dogs who prefer a quiet environment without the stress of other dogs nearby. While our fence is 4 feet high and the area is smaller than some, it’s a great spot for dogs who just need a safe, fun place to burn off energy and enjoy nature.
