55Upon arrival we were greeted by two sets of geese. Both groups went their separate ways giving us a clear path to the pond. We have a reactive dog and she didn't respond to either sets of geese, or the chickens. You could hear dogs barking inside the building but no reaction there either. We did make sure to get to the opposite side of the pond before letting the dogs loose since the geese are roaming free and we want everyone to be safe. The trails were a little difficult to point out right away but once we found them it was off to the races. Our dogs ran wild! The beach and dock are perfect for dogs that like to swim or not. We went on a damp and rainy day and the trails were just fine. There is one trashcan at the front, but I didn't see any others. The only thing I was nervous about was the creek is near the road, so if you have dogs that like to chase cars I'd keep them leashed once you get to the creek. Definitely booking again!
55Highly recommend! Big pond for swimming, plenty of trails to walk on, and everyone was so friendly! I will be back!
55This is a fantastic, clean area with lots of land! My pup had so much fun, and we will be back!
55This is a great place to bring your dogs for swimming, hiking in trails, chasing squirrels- an all-around beautiful place. My dogs are sleeping soundly in the car as we speak!
55Most beautiful Sniffspot we’ve been to so far. Awesome environment! Just be aware if your pup has a prey drive, there’s a ton of small fowl. But the girls had so much fun!!!
55Great area. Dogs loved the pond and little beach area.
55We had a lovely time!! Jessica was a great host and very communicative. My dogs loved the lake and the space to run. Everything was clean and beautiful.
55There's a lot of trails to explore, and the pond is beautiful and an easy walk around for a stroll. The partially fenced in lot is a little kennel space with a picnic in the front that we would only use if our dogs absolutely needed to be enclosed. Just a heads up if you're looking forward to the fenced in space. It's relatively small compared to the entire lot, but the place as a whole was a blast!
55My 4 dogs had an absolute blast! 10 10 recommend! Gorgeous set up. 😍
55Great spot for dogs who like to run and swim!

I am lucky enough to live on a private piece of property that we turned into a dog paradise. I’ve cared for dogs and rescue dogs for over a decade and am excited to open it up to other dog people :)

Where Dogs can be Dogs

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂
