🐾 Welcome to Maxie The first private swimming pool in the area with spacious backyard to explore, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes, pool toys, and treats available. -Solar-heated by the sun through solar panels, so water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). Many guests shared the feedback that the water is warm in summer. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. Each additional dog includes 1 guest free. -Extra guests: $15/person/hour. If you are bringing more guests, you can select in the EXTRA section when booking. -For safety reasons, children under 16 are not allowed. -Bringing 4+ dogs or hosting a doggy party? Please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to help arrange! 🏊 Pool Rules To keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone: -Supervise your dogs at all times; no coach/lifeguard provided. -Pets & humans swim at their own risk. -No bathroom available, please plan ahead. -No food, treats, or glassware in the pool. -No peeing/pooping in the pool, please let us know immediately if your pup has accidents happen. -Dogs must be leashed entering/exiting; off-leash only once the pool steel gate is locked. Keep the pool steel gate locked at all times. -Keep noise down. no yelling, screaming, or loud music (quiet neighborhood). -Respect landscaping, there are plants, turf, rocks, and mulch; dogs play at their own risk. -Bring your own towels, no hoses, outlets, dryers, or shower facilities available. -Do not touch pool equipment, misuse will result in charges. -Pool cleaning is every Monday, there may be pool chemicals present. -Security cameras are at the entrance and backyard; footage is reviewed only for incidents. 💙 Thank you for helping us keep Maxie Pool fun, safe, and clean for every pup. We welcome dogs' birthday parties and dogs' play dates at our spot. If you would like to share the spot with friends, please select the correct number of additional adults in the EXTRAS. This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around before the bend that is downstream. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. Maximum 2 people per dog. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!

Kristyn's Peaceful Bird Oasis & Sanctuary- Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent- Almaden Valley- South San Jose

My home is in South San Jose and a beautiful safe and quiet neighborhood in Almaden Valley. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac and our house faces a creek with a wonderful walking trail that is dog friendly. There are plenty of nearby parks for hiking or walking right outside my door or a short 5 minute drive from our house. I currently do not have a dog but I did so my backyard is set up for dogs with newer artificial turf and 2 lawn areas. Please note I do have two indoor cats, which should not be a problem unless your dog is not a fan of cats and will get reactive. Please message me preferably a day ahead of time or at least hours ahead of time so that I can prepare and make sure that the back three sliders have the blinds and shutters closed at least at dog eye level.😊 I want everyone to enjoy their experience especially the dogs, and I don’t want my cats scared to death either! I cannot guarantee you that they won’t necessarily try to peek out and see why there are dogs in their yard because they are cats after all, but for the most part they will cooperate. This works out fairly well from what I’ve experienced and seen. We ask that you please not let your dog scratch or dig on the turf as that could damage them. I have multiple safe watering vessels for birds and dogs. There is no pesticides used in my yard or harmful chemicals. I have an organic home garden. The same thing goes with the garden so please make sure your dogs do not get into it as I have put a lot of time, love, sweat and labor to have a thriving garden. I have a large patio set with a new large umbrella and 6 chairs that you are welcome to use and sit at. There are water bowls and two hoses and water to refill any water bowls at opposite ends of the yard. We just ask that you are responsible and respectful with our things and our property and home. We recently remodeled and one of the upgrades and renovations was putting in the artificial lawns. Please pick up after your dogs and yourself and you may use our garbage/recycling cans on the side of the house to dispose of waste and any trash. We allow up to 2 people per visit with your dog/s. We understand that you may have a child or a partner present with you and that is more than fine. However, if it is going to be more than 2 of you we just ask for a nominal $5 per extra person up to a max of 4-6 people total. I have provided an “extra” for just this situation. We hope that you will understand and think that this is fair enough. If there are any special instructions or information that we should know about yourselves or your dog or dogs please message me when you do make a booking. Also, if there is going to be more than two of you at the booking, please make sure that you do include the extra cost for the amount of people that will be coming along with you in case you are bringing friends or other family members. Last mowing day: June 3, 2026 SUMMER: Recommend AM visits before 10am or evening after 5pm. Our spot is full sun with very limited shade. We are trying to eliminate the foxtails but we have a large property and cannot guarantee we get all of them. We are pesticide-free so all removal is done by hand/tractor. **Horses visible in adjacent property occasionally Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass. NOTE: There may be foxtails and ticks in this area.
