55Nice open field that our dogs had a great time running around in. A horse and chickens in adjacent fields but fenced off.
55Big, wide open, sunny field for great exercise!!
55A hidden gem for dog owners seeking a clean and fun outdoor space to let their pups roam and play. The property boasts ample room for dogs to explore, complete with the delightful company of chickens and ducks adding to the charming ambiance. While the area isn’t fully fenced in, there’s still plenty of space for pups to romp around safely. Just be sure to bring your rain or mud boots, as the terrain can get a bit messy after rainfall. Overall, this Sniffspot offers a refreshing escape for both dogs and their owners.
15Booked wrong day and let seller know immediately but never heard back.
55Could only stay for a short romp, but the space looks beautiful and it feels bigger than 4 acres.
55Huge lot, very nice grassy area! My dog loved the wet patches he could run around in, although heads up there is some deer scat around he decided to eat. He loved watching the birds and other animals on nearby properties as well. Overall a lovely time!
55We had a blast here! My two high energy bird dogs loved running and sniffing all through the field. I forgot my chuck-it this time but will definitely remember it next time as they would have loved a game of fetch here! Both dogs have great recall so didn’t have an issue keeping them away from the house or the one open area near the parking spot, but keep in mind if your dog doesn’t have super reliable recall or is an escape artist. I recommend rain boots in the wet months!
55Was great. Nice and spacious
55Pups came home tired and happy!
55Absolutely lovely spot for your dog to run around. Garbage bin is available and a bowl for water, BYOW(bring your own water). Though not fully fenced it is on a dead end road with zero traffic. There were some chickens at the house across from parking but as long as your dog is leashed like they're supposed to be it shouldn't be an issue. Grass was mowed when we came in October wasn't muddy at all.

Description

A large open 4 acre meadow of doggy paradise! A festival of Fetch can surely be had here! Plenty of ground for big big zoomies and even an ex professional baseball pitcher would have trouble throwing a ball too far on this land! Partially fenced but not easy to escape as the property bottlenecks back to the entrance where you park. Feel free to stroll in the wide open field and peep the view of pond on the other side of the fence (but do not cross fence of course) . On clear days you can see Mt. St Helens, the tip of Mt. Adam’s and Mt. Hood. The field is yours to roam and run in but please keep your zooms out of the back and front yard nearest to the house if you can! It’s pretty clearly marked! Enjoy this slice of doggo heaven and zoom and sniff to your heart’s content!

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

ATTN: From May to mid July the grass is about 3-4ft tall before the Hay is cut. Not necessarily a hazard but it’s definitely not as ideal for the small pups as it may be alittle harder for them to navigate through.

Artist, herbalist, outdoor enthusiast and long time dog lover! I had a doggo for 13 years and he passed a few years back. I really miss having dogs around but as a traveler I am waiting for a bit until I get my next furry friend. I am stoked to have all the doggies enjoying this little slice of Doggy paradise. Their joy is my joy and I’m so very happy to share my beloved Scappoose Sanctuary!
