The yard is enclosed by a secure 6-foot-tall fence and offers multiple shaded areas to help keep dogs comfortable on warm days. Fresh water is always available, and we've provided chairs for humans and a cozy dog bed for pups who need a break between adventures. While the backyard does face the street and there is some ambient street noise, the space itself is very private and securely enclosed, allowing you and your dog to relax and enjoy your visit. As lifelong dog lovers, we created this space because our own beloved senior dogs have reached the stage where they prefer naps over chasing balls. We'd love to share their once-busy playground with new puppy friends and energetic dogs looking for a safe place to run, play, and make happy memories. Rhi's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Vancouver

The yard is about a quarter acre, conveniently located about a half mile from the 1-205. The property is fully fenced and has a privacy screen covering most of the fence for extra security. It’s a good space for fetch, frisbee, or just enjoying being outside and sniffing. The yard is mostly grass with a few larger patches of dirt. I don’t mind some digging in the dirt areas, as we have some diggers in our pack as well. We have a couple seating areas to enjoy and sit with your group on the outdoor couches, or chairs by the water jug to keep an eye on your pup(s). We also have a cutie tree house where they can go and watch the birds or just enjoy a different view while being there. When arriving to the property, feel free to park on the left side of the house in front of the fence. When entering the first gate, you might hear my dobie Bruce bark (I take it as an excited hello lol) as you make your way to the second gate that opens to the yard. Once inside the yard, you’ll never see other dogs or people, but we have lots of neighbor dogs that bark to each other in the area - just a head’s up in case your dog(s) are easily triggered by that. If you have any questions, please reach out and we are so excited to host you and your pups!

Welcome to Columbia Gateway! Our park is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots, trees, plants that harbor animals ans birds. It is blackberry season! Pick yourself some berries. We never use chemicals or spray. Pick your fill of blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog or puppy. Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected May-Sept PLEASE USE SPIGOT Next to House Chimney for water or NEXT TO HOSE BOX by fence. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Park area is east of the driveway then the grass wraps around back of the house. Have a good time exploring and playing! We appreciate your business and love dogs. Please just encourage them to avoid the porch areas and flower/fruit gardens. Leave any open water line or hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence. Quiet and private except the rooster serenade. Please note that if you come more than 10 minutes early, you may have to wait. I always do a poop patrol just before any guest arrival. Please close gates behind you when you leave. I do usually have farm fresh eggs available. $5 to $7. Cash only. Lots of organic, low sugar, peach and plum jam from trees right here on the property. We live on 20 acres and it’s all open field with the exception of our house and barns. There are neighbors and old barns to stay away from but other than that the field behind our house or on the east side is available for you and your dogs to roam. There is often a mowed trail around the property but beware in the rainy weather it’s wet and can get deep!
