55Wonderful spot and fantastic hosts!!
55This spot is an absolute gem :). Lisa was so kind and helpful. She met us for our first time there and explained everything. My pups had the best adventure! And the Christmas Trees were lovely!
55Lots of land, trails, and streams to explore. Great place and worth the drive.
55Fabulous spot…great trails and creeks! Very kind and welcoming host!
55Fell in love with this Sniffspot! I was a little concerned that it wasn’t fenced, however, there is so much space and we didn’t run into any other dogs. We did bring our stroller and walked the property with so much left to explore. I would say an hour wasn’t enough time, book for longer if you can. We will be back!
55This place was unreal! I can’t wait to go back, so much space and such beautiful scenery. My dogs were in heaven, as was I!
55Beautiful location, fantastic host! Just fyi that it's a gravel road for a few miles before getting to the location.
55We had a friend join us today and we explored some more trails! This Sniffspot is out there, but so worth it! We also went to the part that borders BLM, which you can also access. We didn’t have enough time, but it’s something we might do in the future!
55Such a gorgeous spot! My dog LOVED running around here!
55Fantastic sniff spot! Up there with our favorites. So many trails to explore and the scenery is stunning!

We have four dogs and a cat that will be at my house and not near or visible where you will be walking. You will be on a large piece of private unfenced land that has forests and open areas. I can’t fully control who enters the property -I do have private property signs posted.

Hello! The Mitchell Family Tree Farm was established in 2002. At Christmas time families come out to U-Cut their perfect tree🎄. Now we are wanting to open our farm to have people come enjoy our land and the trails we have built, and what better way then walking your dog 🐶

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
