It was easy and lovely to visit Mike's yard. We'll be back!
Exactly as advertised, with provided water, toys, and plenty of space! My puppy turns into a speeding velociraptor if he doesn't get enough exercise and he's happily snoozing. Thank goodness. 😌
Great spot for my dogs to run around! The views were amazing today too
Overall safe and quiet spot. Really nice neighborhood to take the pup for a stroll around too. Nice time to go was just before sunset since the sun was hitting just right. Not five stars just because the next door neighbors dog was barking pretty incessantly and my puppy is at that super curious/barrier frustration stage so she would try to bolt to find the source of the sound and gave me a few scares since she could probably fit under the small gaps in the fencing (gaps that occurre in a stair pattern since the property is on a hill) and some gaps that’s near the ground and adjacent to that neighbor with Mr Moose. Fencing is 100% fine for grown dogs but probably a bit risky for bold small breeds or puppies under 20lbs. I would have brought a long lead if I had known. But when she’s grown I’d bring her back. Also beware the rose bushes 😅 her ball rolled down into them and she swan dove for it getting a very thorny branch stuck in her harness and I got cut up/snagged real good retrieving the ball. Probably not as much of an issue when there’s more foliage come spring
This space is well kept and nicely fenced. The first 45 minutes were very enjoyable and peaceful. I picked the wrong time to go it seemed everyone was getting home from work and school (3-4pm). The neighborhoods towards the back started cleaning their yard and found old toys and wanted to know if they belonged to the property. My dogs still got to enjoy the space when it was quiet. If your reactive dog is easily redirected I would say this is an ok space. However those that have a hard to with new stimulus coming into their environment try earlier in the day or a different spot.
Great space to run around!
Great yard for my dog to run around! There was dogs barking in the distance, but not distracting for my reactive dog. It was a great space for my dog to just play without distractions and have fun! People were walking by in the street with their dogs and with the fence she didn’t even notice! Thank you for letting me use your space!
I take my dog here all the time/ great spot and provides a great little circuit for runners.
Easy access to such a great sized yard. Gets a bit muddy when wet so bring a rag to clean your pup after and don’t wear your nice shoes 😂
Our foster dog had a great time! Having an upper and lower yard made zoomies extra fun!

Fully fenced West Seattle yard with patio furniture! Come hang out in our west facing sunny backyard. Easy parking (no parallel parking required) and secluded street in the middle of the Junction! We have a sleepy 14 year old dog, Lucy, who will be kept in the house during your visit. When Lucy was young, we lived in apartments and condos and would've loved to have a private space to let her get her zoomies and play fetch. Come enjoy our space!
Hi - my name is Jake (he/they) and live in a beautiful single family home in Cherry Hill / Capitol Hill, Seattle. The house has a beautiful fully fenced grassy back yard, with lawn care every two weeks to make sure the space stays upheld. I don’t have any pups of my own but very much a dog person! I’m a social person and love making connections. I also currently work from home and am in Nonprofit Management. The backyard is a little oasis and fully blooms in the Spring/Summer. I think you and your dogs will love the space, since there is a large area for running around and playing!
The flowering bushes are in bloom! a great time for a visit! A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 65-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far right and left over a bluff that winds around to The Alien Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, the trails lead to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if possible, because they love to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was clear-cut between 65 to 100 years ago and not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, and Pacific Northwest duff with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared this as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, mice, raccoons, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing, watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest 1 mile from the South Sound. To help protect the environment, the land, and flowering plants, we added fences directing people and dogs onto the paths. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available on the driveway as you depart under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. When it is raining and for water dogs, a guest recommended bringing a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries!
We have a large flat yard your dog can run around in. There is a little narrow area in the back to explore also. Fully fenced. But if the dog is very tiny it could get out through the bottom of the fence. We are the light green house 3rd one from the cul de sac - with a red flower pot visible near the entrance. You can park in front of the house on the curb and then go to the left of the house, up the driveway to open the gate to the backyard.
It’s a cool small front yard good for medium/ small dogs.
Welcome to Karla's Woof and Wanderland! It's not just a park; it's a place where tails wag, friendships bloom, and every bark is met with a smile. With spacious play areas, cozy seating, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for dogs and their humans to come together and make memories. Join us for endless fun and furry adventures in a space filled with love and laughter! Available on the space is also a dog run and dog houses will be available soon. Since I have a private gym on the space, you could even bring your fur babies to hang out in the dog run while you got a quick workout or aerial class in!
Come take advantage of our yard. Feel free to use the fire pit, the swing, or hammock if weather permits.
*12/5/23* There is a LARGE amount of standing water (small lake) and puddles in the spot due to current flooding conditions. *fall/winter update* We have mud, please consider bringing a towel for your pup(s). During the month of October we host a pumpkin patch every weekend and must close the Sniffspot for everyone’s safety. If you are a member please contact us if you aren’t available during the week to use your time. Well socialized pups are always welcome at the patch. 🎃 We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!). Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot. Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. We have new neighbors at the west end of the pasture. Please be aware there may be construction during your visit, we apologize for any inconvenience. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing (a very small dog may be able to get out). We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have a dog ‘Veles’ that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. We look forward to hosting you and your pup! Please reach out if you have questions. -Jenn & Drew
