PARKING: Please park on street. We have a shared driveway with two other families, and it can get a little crowded so please park on the street on Beach Drive SW in front of the house. As you walk up the driveway, there is an entrance in the picket fence on the left. If it’s raining, look for towels, poop bags, trash can, and toys under the gazebo. Thank you!

Dug(golden retriever) and Teddy(lab puppy) had a wonderful time running around the yard and walking through the pond! We will be back!
Great spot! Beautiful, lots of space, many things to do. Will definitely be back when my pup has more energy!
Beautiful big yard with room to run! Chairs, toys, water & poop supplies all available.
Beautiful, large space our dog LOVED
Lovely property. Street can be seen and there is the potential for people walking their dogs past. We kept an eye out and had our dog chase treats in the opposite direction to divert his attention when it did happen. There are plantings near the fence, so the sidewalk does have some cover. Treats, poop bags, toys, water bowl, hose, and a poop can are available.
awesome private spot, beautiful views and great space!
Awesome yard with lots of toys. If your pup loves water, consider wearing shoes that can get wet in case you need to grab them and pull them away from the lily pads.
Great spot with a lot of space for the dogs to run around and explore. Lots of toys provided.
Beautiful yard! Millie had so much fun running around and sniffing everything. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!
This place was great! Spacious, enclosed, toys and even a little pond to cool off in. Hosts were communicative and friendly. Thanks so much for sharing your space with us!

Hello! We have a nice front yard for all to play in and love sharing! We ask that you please clean up after your dogs so the next family can enjoy the space as well! We clean all toys and furniture post-visit, but we may miss a spot if your dog chooses a private corner to relieve him/herself :) I hope you enjoy yourself during your visit as much as my family and I do!
Fully fenced West Seattle yard with patio furniture! Come hang out in our west facing sunny backyard. Easy parking (no parallel parking required) and secluded street in the middle of the Junction! We have a sleepy 14 year old dog, Lucy, who will be kept in the house during your visit. When Lucy was young, we lived in apartments and condos and would've loved to have a private space to let her get her zoomies and play fetch. Come enjoy our space!
Hi - my name is Jake (he/they) and live in a beautiful single family home in Cherry Hill / Capitol Hill, Seattle. The house has a beautiful fully fenced grassy back yard, with lawn care every two weeks to make sure the space stays upheld. I don’t have any pups of my own but very much a dog person! I’m a social person and love making connections. I also currently work from home and am in Nonprofit Management. The backyard is a little oasis and fully blooms in the Spring/Summer. I think you and your dogs will love the space, since there is a large area for running around and playing!
The flowering bushes are in bloom! a great time for a visit! A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 65-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far right and left over a bluff that winds around to The Alien Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, the trails lead to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if possible, because they love to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was clear-cut between 65 to 100 years ago and not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, and Pacific Northwest duff with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared this as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, mice, raccoons, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing, watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest 1 mile from the South Sound. To help protect the environment, the land, and flowering plants, we added fences directing people and dogs onto the paths. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available on the driveway as you depart under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. When it is raining and for water dogs, a guest recommended bringing a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries!
We have a large flat yard your dog can run around in. There is a little narrow area in the back to explore also. Fully fenced. But if the dog is very tiny it could get out through the bottom of the fence. We are the light green house 3rd one from the cul de sac - with a red flower pot visible near the entrance. You can park in front of the house on the curb and then go to the left of the house, up the driveway to open the gate to the backyard.
NOTE: WEEKEND OF AUGUST 11TH, MY NEIGHBORS ARE HAVING A FAMILY REUNION. THERE ARE LARGE TENTS IN THE YARD. THERE WILL BE LOTS OF FOOT TRAFFIC AND NOISE COMING FROM NEXT DOOR. IF YOUR DOG IS SENSITIVE TO THOSE THINGS, PLEASE SKIP THIS WEEKEND. IF YOU DO BOOK AND PARKING IS DIFFICULT, YOURE WELCOME TO USE MY DRIVEWAY. Welcome to the coolest yard in Seattle! We have an agility course with a balance beam, an a-frame, weave poles and and a things for your dog to crawl under! Chuck It with TONS of tennis balls? Yup! Water cannons and a pool for your dogs? Check! A tug toy that you don't have to hold? Absolutely! Frisbee? We even got those! A platform for pictures? Why not! We've even got a shade tent for your pup! A bucket of sticks? If your dog is into that kinda thing! For the people? A cool and shaded patio with chairs and a table under the gorgeous trees in our yard! You're welcome to walk in the pool or climb the agility course 🤣 This backyard is made for the dogs! It's a quarter acre and completely fenced around the perimeter. If my Malinois can't escape, I doubt your dog can 🤣 There is one neighbor dog but he's very quiet and doesn't bark or bother my dogs when they're out! He hasn't bothered any of the sniffspot guests either. His name is Theo and he's a good boy that might come up to the fence. Don't worry, there's no gaps for him to say hello! We're conveniently located right off Aurora, near the Costco! Our neighborhood is very quiet! There is parking available off the street in a designated spot. It's shown in the pictures. It's a rocky parking spot. We have waters, sodas and some snacks available for the humans! Just let me know before you arrive and I'll put them on the table under the shade trees. Speaking of the beautiful shade trees! Those glorious things keep that area nice and cool! There will be a small table for your belongings and a couple of chairs to sit in! On the left side of the yard, near the house, are some obnoxious blackberry bushes that keep coming back no matter what I do. I think they grow from the neighbors side. We put up a privacy screen that's done well at keeping the dogs away from that area. While you're here, my personal dogs will be kept in the master bedroom and they're quiet! We hope your dog enjoys the yard as much as mine do! **Note about the pools: they are not dumped and cleaned between guests. That would be a huge waste of resources. We try to be as eco-friendly as possible! They are skimmed and vacuumed between guests though! The vacuuming does filter in fresh water. When you arrive, there may be some dirt settled at the bottom but the dogs don't care lol
*12/5/23* There is a LARGE amount of standing water (small lake) and puddles in the spot due to current flooding conditions. *fall/winter update* We have mud, please consider bringing a towel for your pup(s). During the month of October we host a pumpkin patch every weekend and must close the Sniffspot for everyone’s safety. If you are a member please contact us if you aren’t available during the week to use your time. Well socialized pups are always welcome at the patch. 🎃 We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!). Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot. Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. We have new neighbors at the west end of the pasture. Please be aware there may be construction during your visit, we apologize for any inconvenience. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing (a very small dog may be able to get out). We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have a dog ‘Veles’ that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. We look forward to hosting you and your pup! Please reach out if you have questions. -Jenn & Drew
1.25 acre property with about 1 acre of fully-fenced backyard. Off-street parking in the front or backyard (guest’s preference). The yard is mostly grass with plenty of space to run!
West Seattle, fully fenced yard on a two-tiered slight hill for lots of running space and exercise. Some Sound and Mountain Views depending on where you are in the yard. There are some shade trees, and access to water for dogs; a shade umbrella and seating for humans. Guest WiFi details are available on-site, or message for details. A few gaps of up 4 inches between fence and ground on west side of yard. It's mostly covered by bushes; but if you have a very small dog it could possible find a way under the gap.
