This is my own home with a large backyard and spacious front yard. Your dog will enjoy sniffing. Please pick up poop and put in the black trash on your way out? Water bowl near the front gate. If empty (possibly due to crows) feel free to use hose to fill it up again. If I am not home, my dog will be inside. If I am home and your dog wants a friend to play for big, happy to bring my pup outside too. Enjoy your visit!

It is a large space fully fenced. You are required to clean up after yourself and leave personal items alone

Enjoy our fully fenced dog-yard. Ideal for reactive and active dogs (not ideal for barkers due to our close proximity to neighboring houses). Back yard is set back from sidewalk and street. Rarely is a neighbor seen. Ample space to run, play, sniff, roll and laze. Mature plants provide opportunity for shade throughout the day or sun. Blankets and chairs in yard. Water, bowl, toys, poo bags provided.

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! This is our first time being a Sniffspot host and we hope you enjoy your time here. It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, farmland and single family homes surround the property. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! * due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you *please note: this pasture was used for a month (June 2023) by our goats & chickens and so the dirt in areas may be infused with the flavor of goat. While we have cleaned much of it, it can still be tasty to some dogs so wanted you to be aware * The terrain of the pasture does have some dips and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of long pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid shoes will help you navigate the land. *There are three chickens on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. * September may be too late in the season, but if you are interested, please do give us advance notice (3+hours) if you would like the small plastic kiddie pool filled prior to your arrival. Hello and welcome to Stump Town! This is our first time being a Sniffspot host and we hope you enjoy your time here. Things to note!!!! We will be closed the first 2 weeks of October for friends & family that are staying with us. - This used to be an old goat/chicken pen. The dirt is infused with the flavor of goat 💩! If you think your furry pet is a poop eater this may not be the best spot for you. While we have cleaned much of it it can still be tasty to some dogs! - The stall mats can get very hot. Have your dogs step onto the dirt or mulch when leashing up. - The terrain is on a slant, with dips and a mix of grass, dirt, and mulch. Please wear good shoes. - Please CHECK TRAFFIC! Weekday rush hour or weekend highway detours may impact your arrival! - This may not be the best spot for dogs under 20lbs. There are some spots in the fence they could shimmy under or at the gates. We hope you enjoy your time here! We have toys, water, and other necessities. As a reactive dog owner myself I understand how hard it can be to find a private space. Our yard is very secluded. You may on occasion hear the neighbors small dog but shouldn't see her. We have a privacy screen up but do not share the fence line directly with the neighbors.

Tucked in against a greenbelt! Our yard is spacious and quiet, with plenty of things to sniff and toys to play with. Enter through the side gate next to the front door. Small dogs may be able to escape through small holes along the fence and make-shift gate. We own a 50 lb American Foxhound (2 years old) named Luna. She may bark a bit from the inside. Beautiful fenced tall-grass pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. Whether you park before the gate or drive right through, you'll be parking on grass and it will be a little bumpy, but most vehicles shouldn't have a problem with it--my little car does fine. There is a mix of tall grass, shorter grass, and the lower "riparian"/woodsy area (mostly alder trees), which has a seasonal creek that runs in winter and is dry in summer. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. You'll find a table and chairs near the entrance with amenities--water, baggies, balls... You've got access to a corner of the nearby barn where you can sit in the shade (or shelter from rain) and use the ball launcher to send your dog(s) on missions out into the field. Down the slope and amongst the trees you'll find more chairs and water. There are two driveways onto the property. You want the north one with the sign "Ericksen." After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Please do not enter the farmhouse yard. The residents of the farmhouse are not the sniffspot hosts. New: accepting donations for COMPOST, like leaves, lawn clippings, pumpkins, newspaper, fruit/veg peels, coffee grounds, annual plants including tomatoes, used potting soil, tree trimmings, etc. You can drop it off and I'll sort it out. You'll see the compost receptacle as you come up the driveway.
