Fully fenced West Seattle yard with patio furniture! Come hang out in our west facing sunny backyard. Easy parking (no parallel parking required) and secluded street in the middle of the Junction! We have a sleepy 14 year old dog, Lucy, who will be kept in the house during your visit. When Lucy was young, we lived in apartments and condos and would've loved to have a private space to let her get her zoomies and play fetch. Come enjoy our space!

Hi - my name is Jake (he/they) and live in a beautiful single family home in Cherry Hill / Capitol Hill, Seattle. The house has a beautiful fully fenced grassy back yard, with lawn care every two weeks to make sure the space stays upheld. I don’t have any pups of my own but very much a dog person! I’m a social person and love making connections. I also currently work from home and am in Nonprofit Management. The backyard is a little oasis and fully blooms in the Spring/Summer. I think you and your dogs will love the space, since there is a large area for running around and playing!

We have a barn for indoor training, lots of toys chuck-it station...as well as 2 grassy acres of running space for your pups! We have reactive dogs ourselves so we understand those that need a PRIVATE space to exercise their dogs. Our 3 dogs will be inside during your playtime, please keep dogs off front porch and back deck to eliminate ours barking and distracting your pups fun day.

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or ferilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags in the GREEN trash container to the left of the garage. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. My yard is fully fenced, quiet and peaceful. The house, and yard, is set back off the street and has plenty of guest parking. Grass is mowed regularly and lots of bushes and smells for your pup to explore. Human seating available on the deck or below. Dog bowl with water, water spigot, waste bags, hand sanitizer, garbage, and electric outlets all available for use. Enjoy!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 65-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Alien Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, the trails lead to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was clear-cut between 65 to 100 years ago and not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, and Pacific Northwest duff with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available on the driveway as you depart under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). When it is raining and for water dogs, a guest recommended bringing a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. Natural pasture with beautiful view of the cascade foothills and an amazing place to access the Snoqualmie River. Your furbaby will have so much space to frolic and just be a dog. It’s adjacent to my other 32 acres being used for duck pond and wetland. There are spots in the fence where they could run through but the property is surrounded by acres of farmland so nothing to worry about. No other domestic dogs are allowed on the property only one guest at a time. You and your furbaby will get 21.6 acres with river access and a million dollar view of the cascade mountains to enjoy privately. Parking is on the street for now and I am working on expanding the opening to allow off street parking for my guests. This has been a dream of ours to open up this amazing spot for dog owners to enjoy a safe private wide open space with their furry friends.
