55A clean and well kept space to play with your pup.
55This is a great yard! The only caution is that if you have escape-prone small-to-medium dogs, the south side isn't fully secure. My dogs have no desire to leave though - they just want to chase and fetch and lay in the grass. It's big enough to be fun without being huge, always clean, the toy bin is great (we ended up getting one of their toys because my puppy wanted to take it home) and peaceful.
55nice yard & neighborhood! easy accessibility
55Great space!
55Owner was very nice and great toy selection!
55Westside puppy playground is an absolute delight for our furr babies. The yard was super clean and neat. The host has added some toys, water, garbage bin, poop bags and also some nice chairs to sit around.
55Perfect yard :)
55Host set up the space with water, toys, poop bags (plus a garbage bin for disposal), and hand sanitizer which was much appreciated! Our two small dogs enjoyed wandering around, though I kept the smallest on extended leash as he can be overly courageous and stubborn when he decides he wants to escape - and there was potential for him to get up on the retaining wall. One neighbor said hello to us while the other neighbor’s dog was out briefly in their yard (a chain link fence separated the yards) which was a mild issue as one of our dogs is reactive but the yard was big enough for us to simply move to another spot to hang out. Thanks for having us!
55We had a great time at Andy’s spot. Plenty of room for my dog to play fetch and run around. There was also a water bowl, dog toys, chairs, etc. Felt very welcomed and will definitely come back!
55Really clean with nice grass, toys, and a big bowl for water. Everything we needed. There was a house cat inside as well as some folks that may have been a distraction to some pups, but it wasn’t for ours. Overall felt like a really safe, well-fenced yard for our dog to run.

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 65-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Alien Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, the trails lead to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was clear-cut between 65 to 100 years ago and not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, and Pacific Northwest duff with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available on the driveway as you depart under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. When it is raining and for water dogs, a guest recommended bringing a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries!
