55This was our first Sniffspot so I was nervous but it was fully enclosed and felt safe letting my crazy girl run around. I forgot water for my girl and was so happy that the host had thought to provide!! It was nice and felt very private. Will definitely go back!
55Amazing spot! Nicely shaded in this insane heat. Host had out a little doggy pool and a chest of stuff to use (toys, chairs, snacks, sunscreen, etc) and was so welcoming! Will definitely be back! Also there was enough room for my one and a half dogs (Doberman and havanese)
55Back for our second visit today, was wonderful again. Yard is a great size and was shaded and cool, pup and her two legged friends love this spot.
55Yard was great, first real chance our pup had to stretch her legs. Yard was very clean and secure, we loved it! Very clear instructions from host as well which was super helpful too.
55Nice, clean, private yard with plush grass. Was there in the early evening and yard was totally shaded. Fencing was secure. There was enough room for my Border Collie puppy (40lb) to run. I have to remember bug spray next time.
55Great yard, dogs loved it. Nice mix of sun and shade and very clean. Host is nice enough to have dog and people snacks available.
55Great, clean space and the owner is super considerate by leaving poop baggies, bug spray, and doggie sunscreen (I didn’t even know that was a thing!), as well as treats for dogs and people. My guy had a great time running around, plopping down in the shade, and trying to investigate areas he couldn’t access, including the (strawberry?) plants in the fenced-off area. We just got home and he’s happy boy who is already enjoying a well-deserved nap!
55Awesome space and price and great hospitality! Space was clean and good amount of shade for the pups, will definitely be back!
55The owner is very thoughtful and left water/bowl and dog treats along with human treats and drinks. Toys, sunscreen and poop bags were provided as well as a chair for humans.
55Wonderful spot! Our dogs had a blast and the host was incredible sweet leaving water and snacks for both humans and dogs! Also had some toys for the dogs.

Come and play in Sammy’s Playground. There’s lots to do. With the entire 0.5-acre backyard fully enclosed by a new chain-link fence (Fall 2022), the pups are free to roam and run to their hearts delight. And, wow… it sure is fun to watch them go!! Zoom-Zoom (important notices on pricing and opening the gate are at close of this section). The areas along the edges of the yard are wooded and make for fun pathways for explorations. The central area of the yard has a slight hill and is mostly open. This makes for plenty of romping and heavy-duty running- including long throws of a ball or a frisbee. Check out all of the photos and read the accompanying descriptions to get a better idea of how Sammy’s Playground will appeal to you and your furry friends!! And don’t worry about the yard (too much). There’s divots and mounds all around, no manicured lawns when dogs are at play. Go for it guys… Enjoy!! The pool💦 is open and the water is Devine for pups and humans alike. We allow two humans per dog to assist any dogs that may need “assistance.” We have a bunch of life vests available, but can’t guarantee that we have one that will fit your dog(s). Many dogs will find great pleasure in retrieving their ball or simply going for a dip in the pool. Sammy is a nutcase for his tennis balls. David stands in the deep end, throws the ball to the stairs, Sammy bobs for the ball, retrieves it… all to do it again (whining the whole time). Mind you, he will not retrieve (or drop) his tennis ball otherwise. For 💦 pool use, select the corresponding “Extra” for your visit. Striped towels for the dogs. Colorful towels for the humans. Place wet towels on the wall. They’ll dry almost instantly. We also set up the furniture, gazebo, hammock, doggie toys, cold water and beverages for our Guests for ALL to enjoy as we enjoy this summertime!! Yea. It’s our hope that our family-like relationships between us and our Guests remain great and we to avoid any reason to raise our hourly rate. SniffSpot suggests we list at $20/hour. We are uncomfortable with doing this, because it goes against the spirit of our objective for the playground in the first place: providing a safe and secure environment for dogs of all kinds to enjoy off-leash “true-dog” experiences with their loving humans. We do welcome donations of dog food and medications for the all-dog rescue organization, PAWS New England. In fact, on some occasions, we may make Sammy’s Playground available on “off” hours. When we do, we consider this premium time and ask that a donation be a must. ——- NOTE: to open the gate, simply reach over the top to find the key. Twist/turn the key until it stops. Then, lift the knob on top of the gate and push the gate open… you’re in! The gate automatically closes behind you. Please confirm that it has engaged into the closed position and then turn the key to lock yourself in. DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY. The photos section includes views of the gate, key and lock. NOTE: As an “Extra” listed benefit, you may park your vehicle in an area away from the gate and take advantage of a leisurely stroll down the very-well-kept sidewalks of Park Street and adjoining neighborhoods. This might be a good way to burn off that last little bit of doggy energy or for some leash training while you’re here. This is time AFTER your booked time of using Sammy’s Playground (not a part of it). This is essentially a parking fee. We just don’t want you to run off without taking advantage of all the resources available to you for your dog(s).
