Escape to Black Dog Farm for fresh air, happy sniffing, and a little adventure at your dog’s pace! Explore our self-guided wooded trail, with sensory stops along the way that invite your pup to sniff, investigate, and enjoy something new. Two marked “pause paths” offer space to step aside and take a quiet break. Your visit also includes use of our pasture, which is a little over 2 acres—plenty of room to wander and explore together. We’re a working farm, so our horses and pig may be visible during your visit. Our other dogs will be put away during your reservation. Please note: the pasture is only partially fenced, and the trail is not enclosed. This is not a fully fenced dog park; bring a leash or long line for exploring safely. Come enjoy a peaceful change of scenery and some quality time with your dog! 🐾

Foster's Field

Named in honor of all our fosters who spent their afternoons playing in the field before moving on to their forever homes. Beautiful and private rolling hill field with shade and a swing to sit on and enjoy it! Separate small dog yard if needed. Plenty of space for your dogs to run to their hearts content and a quiet space to train. A unique and beautiful space to fit all your needs. *** All funds from our Spot are being donated for our dog's cancer treatment!

🐾 McPeak Farm — 30 Acres of Private Hiking!

Welcome to McPeak Farm, a peaceful private country retreat where your pup can sniff, explore, roam, and just be a dog! 🌿🐕 Our home sits at the front of the property, where you’ll find everything you and your pup might need during your visit — fresh towels, sunscreen, drinks, snacks, and even treats for the pups! Pull in and park in the gravel to the right, and you can walk down the cleared tree line to our private trail toward the back of the property. Head up the knoll, and we have a cleared ATV trail on your left leading toward the creek, with plenty of natural space to explore along the way. Let your pup take their time sniffing every tree, wandering through the property, and enjoying all the sights and smells that come with country life. The trail becomes completely wooded so on a hot day, the temperature will drop making it a very enjoyable hike for you and your furry friend! No need to worry about muddy paws or your dog getting a little dirty — this is their adventure! 🐾 You may hear a dog barking in the distance, see birds flying overhead, or catch the occasional sounds of country life, but for the most part, you’ll enjoy peace, privacy, and pure country serenity. Whether you want to stop by for a quick hour of enrichment or spend half the day exploring, there’s room to make your visit your own. Fully Fenced Room to Roam in Cherryville

Twenty-seven acres right outside of 28021 city limits. Former cattle and sheep pasture, currently empty of livestock but waiting for you and your pup(s) to explore! Variety of areas: from large open pastures to heavily wooded (but still easily accessible/walkable) areas = lots to see, hear, and sniff! No need to pick up after your pet either! Water available multiple locations: outside the fenced pastures near block building/parking via hose pipe at the well near the garden 🪴 or inside the pastures (look for the blue barrels and the cattle waterers).

Pool (80 degrees) for dogs & their humans Inside fenced yard

Small yard and pool. Fully fenced. Pool has a tanning ledge for dogs to stand on. Covered porch available with tv and fan. Bathroom in guesthouse available for use. Family members are welcome to swim with the dogs. Pool temp kept around 80-82. Warmer when it gets cold out. Message me if it’s within 24 hours and I may be able to accommodate but my settings block out the reservations within 24 hours.
