Description

You and your furry family members can enjoy a peaceful, large, open paddock, and 1 acre pasture with shade trees, a pond, and fresh water for pups. There is SO much to see and smell at RichKat Ranch! Please note that the North and East pasture fences are wrought iron with spacing that could allow a puppy/small dog to pass through (toy breeds or those such as Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, etc). We look forward to sharing our space with you ♥ Be sure to check out the "Extras" available for your visit! Fresh, home--baked dog treats are among them (24 advance notice required for this "extra") Happy Sniffing!

Squirrel, possum, and rabbit sightings - Our dogs sure do get overly excited about that...and not really a hazard, but you will come across equine manure here and there at times. It's not dangerous or harmful at all.

Paper plates and napkins are also included. PLEASE NOTE: You must book the reservation for the total number of dogs who will attend SEPARATELY. The Birthday Party Package does not include the Sniff Spot reservation itself.

Spend some time with Cabo (15 year old Thoroughbred gelding) and Delilah (18 year old mule) during your visit! We have apples, carrots and other horse treats that you can feed them. We supervise interaction for those who might be a little nervous if they don't have experience with hoses and mules.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats$5.0

Please provide 24 hours advance notice if you are interested in this "Extra". Take home a fresh batch of whole wheat dog treats. 6 (approximately 3 inch diameter) for $3. Peanut Butter, Milk, and Whole Wheat Flour, baked into delicious, healthy treats. Great for training or to celebrate special occasions with your pup.

Towel$1.0

Be sure to test water temp BEFORE use - it gets HOT during the summer daylight hours. If you'd like to rinse off your pup or need to do a little wipe down before heading back home after your visit, we can provide you with a towel. Kindly leave it behind and we will take care of it after your time with us.

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

    This was amazing! They were kind enough to allow us to throw our dog a birthday party with her friends, and they went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning, we had a blast. The land is perfect for several dogs to run and play.

    My dogs loved this spot, & so did I! There were lots of new smells and toys to keep them entertained for the whole hour we spent there. The dogs had a chance to run full speed and shake off pent-up energy. This spot is close to the city, but feels like you’re out in the country. Our host even provided dog snacks, a towel to dry off after wading in the pond (for the dogs!), & water for both the dogs and the humans. Having a safe place to run my dogs helps alleviate a lot of stress while traveling. Thank you!

We offer private, in-home K9 boarding, and provide off-site equine & K9 care for farm and ranch owners in the Southlake/Keller area.
