Welcome to Kent Point Marina Dog Beach & Play Area, located at the beautiful southern tip of Kent Island, Maryland! Our unique waterfront Sniffspot offers dogs and their owners a peaceful place to explore, play, swim, and relax while enjoying stunning Chesapeake Bay views. Whether your pup loves splashing in the water, running through open grassy areas, or simply soaking up the sunshine, there’s something here for every dog to enjoy. Upon entering Kent Point Marina, follow the road to the right toward the private property sign to access our secluded waterfront yard. This quiet area provides direct beach access where your dog can safely swim, play along the shoreline, chase waves, or lounge in the sun. Looking for a snack or refreshment during your visit? Take a left turn toward the Bait House, where you’ll find our marina convenience store stocked with cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, fishing supplies, and more. We also offer carryout steamed seafood, including fresh Maryland crabs and other local favorites, perfect for enjoying after your dog’s adventure. Guests are also welcome to use the large open field located behind the Bait House. This spacious grassy area provides additional room for walking, exploring, training, or playing fetch. Please note that this field is shared with marina guests, so you may occasionally encounter other visitors enjoying the property. Whether you’re looking for a private beach outing, a swimming spot for your water-loving pup, or simply a relaxing day outdoors, Kent Point Marina offers a one-of-a-kind dog-friendly destination on the Chesapeake Bay. Welcome to the Blue House Play Park! (The light blue house) Easy to find and convenient entrance to the backyard right in front of the driveway. Feel free to park on the drive or in front of the house if parking is available, or anywhere you see fit in the cul-de-sac. You will have uninterrupted time with your pup(s) in my large fenced-in backyard. I have two doggos but won't be outside during your booked time, I sometimes will have an extra pup in the house as I also offer dog boarding through Rover, but again they won't be out while you visit. Feel free to use the hose for water and the trash can to dispose of waste. I have a container of dog toys available for use, as well as added agility equipment for those who wish to do a little training. Feel free to use the hose/wash area to rinse off your dogs paws after play, no need to add the extra for that. The extra is if you want all the other stuff included for a more in depth bathing. The grass in the yard is cut every two weeks during the summer leading into the fall months. There may be some divots/holes in the yard so please watch your footing.
