Location

Description

Our property is approximately 1/2 mile off the road making it safer for your pup! Come visit our secluded and serene location in Sunbury, Ohio. Take a load off near our beautiful white barn with plenty of seating and a fire pit. We will supply the wood, but please bring something to start the fire with (matches/lighter). Roam the property, take a hike on over 1 mile of well kept trails, or just walk around the barn to check out all of our chickens! We do have a few barn cats that are all friendly, and up to date on all vaccines. When you’re all done playing, drive up the road to visit Henmick Farm brewery. Their outdoor area is leashed dog friendly and they serve the best food trucks, beers and cocktails! *please note, there are streams along the trails they dry up during summer months, but the large pond is not our property.

Hazards

Rural area with natural low spots in the meadow area we have flagged areas that could potentially be a trip hazard. Keep your eyes out while your in the woods, as there is wildlife and branches, sticks that may have fallen, etc.

Skip the messy indoor bath! Rinse your pup down with our hose. (Located near basketball hoop at the edge of the white barn). We will provide gentle soap for your use!

This place is a lot of fun! Just make sure you check your dog for ticks after. My dog had one even though he’s on preventative.

Dana was very responsive to messages and very welcoming! The area is very pretty, and the trails are maintained well. My dog enjoyed exploring the woods, splashing in the puddles, and there also some space to throw her frisbee. It was a great experience!

Perfect spot to take my pup to run and explore! We had a blast walking the well marked trails and throwing ball. Trail was a little muddy but no big deal! Make sure you prepare and expect to get a little dirty.. made the visit even better for my pup. Will definitely come back 😊

Definitely muddy after some rain, but that made it more fun for my boy! He had a blast! The trails are clearly marked. We did two slow loops during our hour with time left over to rinse feet and do a little dry off. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful place! It had well pathed, secluded trails that were nicely shaded! A little muddy but it's spring, and we came prepared. I will definitely be coming back!

We had a great time! The trails were clearly marked but a little short so we did a couple loops. We came after a string of hot sunny days so it was easy for the humans to avoid the mud, but expect a muddy dog! The area is pretty naturally confined but there is one spot that is open to another group of houses.

We have lived in Sunbury for the past 8-9 years and love the location. 15 min from Polaris and Westerville, 20 min from Delaware, 20 min from New Albany and only 35 min from downtown Columbus! We have two dogs: a Golden retriever and a German shorthair pointer. We bought this property because we love hiking and all things nature.

Welcome to our home. We have one dog named Donna - Dowanda when she’s sassy, and recently had to say goodbye to our dear Scooby. We want to share our dog paradise with other dogs and dog parents while we're raising our two human babies. Hopefully, years from now we will have 10 dogs to run free here, but for now, we want to spread the love. We do NOT treat the lawn/property with any chemicals. Please enjoy the fields, pond, short trail through the woods, toys, treats, baby pool, and more!

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
