Description

Our property is approximately 1/2 mile off the road making it safer for your pup! Come visit our secluded and serene location in Sunbury, Ohio. Roam the property, take a hike on over 1 mile of well kept trails, or just walk around the barn to check out all of our chickens! We do have a few barn cats that are all friendly, and up to date on all vaccines. When you’re all done playing, drive up the road to visit Henmick Farm brewery. Their outdoor area is leashed dog friendly and they serve the best food trucks, beers and cocktails! *please note, there are streams along the trails that dry up during summer months, but the large pond is not our property.

Rural area with natural low spots in the meadow area we have flagged areas that could potentially be a trip hazard. Keep your eyes out while your in the woods, as there is wildlife and branches, sticks that may have fallen, etc. Neighboring property has old farm fencing that needs mended.

We have lived in Sunbury for the past 8-9 years and love the location. 15 min from Polaris and Westerville, 20 min from Delaware, 20 min from New Albany and only 35 min from downtown Columbus! We have two dogs: a Golden retriever and a German shorthair pointer. We bought this property because we love hiking and all things nature.

Located at Grins & Pickin's CampFarm, an outdoor recreation facility located just outside of Marengo, OH. Dogs love all the smells here! We are rooted in nature! There are paths, trails, woods, a creek, a fishing pond and fields to explore, run and play. You may park in the parking lot at the back of the driveway near the outbuildings. A small trash can and water dish will be provided. There is a map of the grounds on the bulletin board and you will notice that the property is rectangle shape with half of the grounds green space and the other half wooded. If you unleash your dog, it must obey when you call it back because if it goes into the neighbor's yard, I will have to close my spot.

He’s wonderful with other dogs and loves to share his toys, zoomies, and all the good sniffs. We do have neighbors who have a pup, so you may hear him on the other side of the fence. The gate is on the left side of the house, and will be unlocked. Give it a good push, to open. Shut it tight behind you, the lock sometimes sticks. There is a green pooper scooper next to the trash bin, and poop bags on the silver stand on the porch. If we are home, I'm happy to treat you to some coffee or tea to stay warm in the cold months. If there is anything else you need, let us know. Enjoy!
