Our house is the second driveway west of Rome Corners Road (coming from Route 3) on the south side of the road. GPS will take you to a house that is 3/4 houses away from ours. Our mailbox is across the road from our driveway and has a small tree growing by it. There is tall grass, pine trees, and a gate at the end of the driveway. Open the outer gate if it is closed (used to keep deer out) and leave open. The driveway is lined with large rocks. As you drive into the driveway, there will be a prairie garden on the left and goats in a pasture on the right and you will drive through a second gate, close and chain that gate. The entire property is now enclosed! You are now in the Sniffspot!! As you drive forward, you will see two gravel areas and a picnic table (looks like camping sites), park in one of those spots. Please park only on the gravel. Close the inner gate after you enter. Leave all driveway gates open when you leave. About Mama's Homestead: There is a trail that goes all the way around the property. We have goats and chickens that are enclosed in their pens. There is a small barn with a porch (you are welcome to sit on the swing rocking chairs) near the goat pastures that has a water spigot and a trash pail for you to use. We have two compost piles, one behind that barn (for barn waste) and one at the back corner of our property (for food scraps). Enjoy the covered bridge that goes over our Koi pond. We have 1 cat that might be near our back deck. The property trails are cleared soon after heavy snowstorms.
