Description

Welcome to an acre of beautiful grounds mixed with a natural creek and a large pond. Very private in the summer and fall. Lots of things to smell and places to explore! Seating, toys and poop bags provided. All that’s needed is you and your canine friend(s)!

HOST NOTE

There is a pond with fish and plants. Dogs are allowed in the pond as long as they don’t eat the fish or plants 🙂. Also, please try to keep dogs out of the bog area of the pond which is where there is a filtration system. It is located at the far end and has only rocks and plants in it. There is short fencing around the outside of the bog. We’ve also had some issues with dogs biting or scratching at the liner, so please watch when then are in the pond🙂. There is a vegetable garden and a chicken run that are off limits. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water There are NO LIGHTS in the yard, so if your booking is towards sunset, please bring flashlights and lighted collars to stay safe.

POND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Only throw your OWN toys IN OR TOWARD the pond. Some don’t float and some dogs won’t retrieve in the deeper part😁.There is a long handled net on the fence behind the pond swing, for use to retrieve toys, , but it doesn’t extend too far. Please keep rocks where they are. Watch to make sure the dogs swim well, and don’t scratch or bite the pond liner. Leave our property as you found it please🙂.
