Every evening we have beautiful sunsets that you can enjoy as your dog explores. We offer a 6 ft tall fully fenced 2-3 acre field with secure gates. This park is safe for reactive dogs, small dogs and large dogs. We have other animals on the property but they do not share a fence with the dogs.

Paws and Smile Dog Park In Shawnee

We moved back to the KC recently and are in the process of turning our new home into a doggy wonderland. Our team of three runs a full time pet care company including doggy daycare, boarding, and drop in visits for all sorts of animal species. As pet care lovers and trainers, we understand the importance of having a private, secure space to work or be with your dog for whatever reason. Our backyard is fully fenced, at least our 5 lb chihuahua, daycare dogs, and dozens of sniffspotters have yet to find a way out. The back has a few smaller enclosed spaces, feel free to use any and all. While we try our best to maintain our yard, sometimes the grass gets high or there are fallen branches. If grass length is a deal breaker, just ask! We'll let you know if it's gotten high or is freshly mowed. There is a detached garage with an old chicken coop with a hole in the door in the middle of the yard. We're aware the hole is there, we don't have immediate plans to fix it, and we don't mind if your dog wanders into it. The yard backs up to the highway. It can get a little loud, but it's pretty much white noise to us and our dogs. Aside from the highway, it's generally a quiet spot. There is a smaller fenced in area of the backyard we use for dog training. You can use that or the main yard. There's a large circle drive at the entrance of our property. You can park inside the fenced yard (open double drive gate) or just outside of it (enter through pedestrian gate) . Near the carport are poo bags, our business cards, grooming wipes, a grooming towel, dog water bowls, and usually some extra tennis balls. Let us know if anything is missing or if trash cans are full! There's a trash can by the carport, as well as a waste station halfway down the yard (trash can and additional poo bags) and another in our smaller fenced in area. We have turned off the water spigots for the season, but happy to leave out a pitcher of water if you'd like! We don't have lighting in the backyard, but we can turn on the lights under the carport, should you ever desire. Feel free to move around chairs or table or use the swing. Note, this is our home and we're constantly working on our property. There are piles of firewood, wheelbarrows, and the occasional rake left out leaning against the shed. Turn down this beautiful, secluded, tree-lined drive and wind your way toward 36 acres of organic sniffing and running fields, rolling pastures, wooded acreage, spring-fed stream, saltwater pool (EXTRA CHARGE, not always available) and stocked pond. You’ll pass a historic two-story red barn built in 1890, blooming apple trees, bee hives, horse stable (with horse and sheep), and family house to this restored, historic 1890s main house. Beautiful native trees and a historic stone smokehouse. Sky-blue chicken coop and free ranging (fenced in) chickens. Look out the east for a beautiful view of the nearby stream. Additional viewable structures include a corn shed, two line sheds, outhouse and grain bins. The entrance to this unique property is secured with an electronic gate. Add the extra (if available) and fish at the stocked pond or swim in the 30ft saltwater pool! Lots to do and see/sniff for pups and owners. Pond swimming is always included in hourly rate. We are off-road in a pasture, which makes for a beautiful and serene landscape while letting your pup get some energy out! Fully fenced 1 acre with plenty of toys, shade, and sitting areas, both you and your pups are sure to have a great time! For the pups, we have water, tennis balls, rope pulls, agility fun and large toy balls! For the humans, we have benches, a hammock chair in one corner, a full hammock in another corner (hammocks are in storage bin), a swing bench up front and a picnic table in the center! In the storage bin is hand sanitizer, poo bags, and band aids as well. (Please note that the hammocks are kept in the storage unit in the park. Hi everyone, Welcome to Donna's Dog Park! We offer 2 acres of fully fenced fun for your furry friend. There are flat, wide open areas, mature trees and semi wooded spots in the yard. There is a nice mixture of both sunny and shaded areas. Your dog(s) can run, sniff, roll and play to their heart's content. There is a dog waste station with bags near the entrance. We have 2 water stations and 3 baskets filled with toys and treats for your pet. For the humans, we have 4 different seating areas. An open area on the patio with 4 tables and chairs and an umbrella that you can open/close depending on your preference. You can relax in the firepit area which has 5 Adirondack chairs. There is also a covered patio with a ceiling fan, a table and 6 chairs. There is a basket on the table with sun screen, bug spray, wet wipes and hand sanitizer for your use. Waste bags are provided in the basket as well. The third seating area is on the raised back porch which is also covered. It has an outdoor love seat, chairs and a hammock and provides a nice spot to sit and watch your dogs. We have seasonal water features (a kiddie pool and splash pad) and an agility course in the near future. Our goal is to provide a clean safe space where your dog(s) can have a pawsitive experience.
