Description

This is an old farm, partly in production. Always pre-arrange a visit, no drop-ins. Great for curious explorers, great for dogs who respond well to verbal commands. NOT good for bolters or chicken-chasers. Lots of room to run, play frisbee/fetch, some areas fine for digging. Please help us deter deer😊

HOST NOTE

This is an old farm , partially in production. I like to think we've found and removed all the old barbed wire, but occasionally more shows up. Dogs MUST be safe with free range chickens and ducks- i.e. NOT chase/hurt them and respond to verbal commands (e.g. NO, or STOP) in case they do get excited about a bird OR a planted space (don't worry, there is plenty of unplanted area nowhere near gardens, just planning for worst case scnarios). In my ideal world, lots of dogs come out in the early spring, pre-planting, and discourage deer! A crazy deer problem has evolved the past few years, and while we do plan to put up a serious fence, this website seems like a sweet way to bridge the gap until we can fence the gardens - hopefully a win-win!
