Great spot! Clearly marked trails that are well maintained. Super friendly and helpful host. Nice creek to play in! We will definitely be back.
This is a lovely, remote, private spot. The woods are gorgeous, the trails are great, and the views are lovely! Stephen is a great host, very considerate, responsive, and nice. If you want a nice private hike, this is the spot for you!
My dogs had a blast running up and down the creek. A beautiful, peaceful spot would definitely return.
Bear had a great time playing in the creek and exploring! Stephen was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely beautiful. The dogs had a great time playing in the creek. Will definitely be returning to this spot.
Stephen and his wife were very friendly! Our dog loved playing in their creek and exploring the trails. Parts of the trail were pretty steep, but we had a great time. Thank you!
This spot was incredible! We had a blast with our two dogs on a private hike through the woods. The trail is very clear and well-maintained. It was easy to navigate even with our dogs on long lines. The creek was pretty wide/deep on the day we visited, so we got our feet wet in spite of our hiking boots — wear your water shoes or rubber boots if you care about that, because you’ll definitely want to cross to the other side where the trail continues. The property owner is working on adding on to the trail. We’ll definitely visit Shain!

I enjoy our new dog and run him everyday a couple times a day. I use a 4 wheeler mostly. But I’m kinda trying to start a dog club and use my property where people meet and bring their large breed dogs.
