We offer a fully fenced space for your dog to run, play, or swim. Towel, toys and water are available. The doggie parents can enjoy a putting green while the dogs play. Feel free to join your dog for a swim on these hot days.

Monty's Playground

We have approximately 0.30 acres of fenced yard with several locations of seating for the humans, 3 water stations for the pups & a hose for more water when needed. We also provide dog bags, garbage, several balls, a throwing arm to play fetch, several toys, a kiddie pool for pups to cool off, and an agility course. Don't forget to check out the treats on the table. There is always atreat bag for each pup to enjoy. Vines & Tails Dog Park at Duncan Peak 🐶

Welcome to Duncan Peak Vineyards! Our vineyard is completely free of herbicides and chemical pesticides, so you and your dog can enjoy a clean, natural outdoor space. Located on a beautiful 107-acre working vineyard at the base of Duncan Peak, our property offers plenty of room for dogs to explore, sniff, and run off leash. There are open areas, peaceful vineyard roads, hiking trails, and a pond where your pup can enjoy a fun countryside adventure. We also have friendly dogs on-site, along with chickens, so please be mindful and make sure your dog is comfortable around other animals. Duncan Peak Vineyards is easy to access, right off Highway 101, while still feeling quiet, scenic, and tucked away in nature. We look forward to welcoming you and your dog!

Storz Homestead Private Dog Park In Lakeport

I have 3.7 acres completely fenced, with multiple different areas that have table/chairs and off the ground dog beds. It is 1/3 mile to walk around the perimeter with animal trails around most of the borders. There are two water faucets in the entry way area with a hose and a children’s swimming pool, dog toys and treats, and a dog waste station, and a place to hang your leashes on the fence. Lots of photo ops with garden art, birdbaths and yard flags around the property. Amazing views of the mountains, Clear Lake and Mt. Konocti around the property, especially on the hill for the doggo parents. The pond in the property north of mine has an Osprey nest and you can see them flying over to the lake to fish. Lots of birds and wildlife visit the property. Please keep a close watch on the smaller pups! My lower area has a seasonal pond in the winter. that water dogs love! The property is truly a peaceful sanctuary for dogs, and their owners. UPDATE 5/2025 - Deer typically drop their babies in May, so there may be fawns hiding in the wildlife areas with longer grass to be mindful of. I've been working on getting the property mowed/weed whacked. I have mowed lots of walking trails around the property while I get the rest under control! COMING UP IN JUNE: Feel free to pick some wild blackberries - there are millions of them!! (No Pesticides used on the property) TRAMPOLINE - I put a trampoline on the property for my grandkids use. Sorry, but due to liability issues, trampoline is for personal use only.

Cathy's 20 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Willits

Part of 160 acre off-grid homestead and along Highway 20/Ft Bragg Rd (10-15min from 101) we are an excellent roadside stop on a road trip. 1st time visitors are met at the gate by the roadside farm stand. and shown around. I have cut trails through the grassy fields to walk on and there are big oak trees for shade. One trail passes the wildlife corridor that passes under Hwy 20/Ft Bragg Rd. If you’re sitting/resting in the area I cleared across from the corridor, you may see some wildlife. I provide a water bucket for dogs to drink from. We do not have permanent chairs at this time, but you’re welcome to bring your own or check some out until I can provide something permanent. We also have ample space that you may bring dog agility stuff for. I am totally willing to clear space in the grass for your equipment, just let me know and we’ll create a spot together. I hope this spot provides great happiness to you and your dog.

Fenced backyard with dock on channel

Enjoy swimming in the Holiday cove channel and romping in the gated yard. Please bring poop bags and towels. the channel can get weedy in the summer so be prepared. You may fish from the dock. please note, no smoking/puffing or vaping. You’ll need your dog in a harness to pull him out of the water as there’s no steps. No children are allowed. Enter the dock at your own risk. Park in the driveway but NOT under the carport. No digging or barking. You may see or hear the neighbor’s dogs. If your dog doesn’t have a recall, put them on a flexi leash while they swim and reel them back in. The yard is monitored with security cameras. Please put poop bags in the garbage (not recycling) and make sure the gates are locked behind you. 2 adults and 2 dogs only

Joy Ridge Sanctuary with over 2 Acres of Redwoods and Gardens

Welcome to our private oasis (we will not be home when you visit!) with over 2 fully fenced acres of redwoods and gardens in Occidental with a park-like setting. Dogs and their families can journey the meandering paths and trails to explore gardens, redwoods, seasonal fruit trees (you are welcome to try it) and endless relaxing areas with hammocks, benches, tables/chairs and even a covered outdoor bed. There is an indoor rustic lounge with sofa and table/chairs where we provide complimentary coffee/tea, water and treats for humans and dogs, dog toys/wipes/towels/blankets/waste bags, disposable rain ponchos for people and a covered outdoor patio with a sitting area to enjoy the redwoods. The bathroom is accessible from the main deck and has a sign on the door. Our redwoods sanctuary is perfect for celebrations, gatherings and private recharging in nature for dogs and their families. Only 15 min drive to dog friendly beaches, 10 min to 'Grove of Old Trees' (dog friendly) and to downtown in Occidental which is known for its shops, galleries and a famous dog friendly Howard Station Cafe. It's also an 8 min drive to 'St. Teresa of Avila Church' in Bodega where Alfred Hitchcock's film 'The Birds' was filmed. If you are visiting with little humans, please enjoy our outdoor toddler playground, swing set, an outdoor mud kitchen with kids' picnic table and a large sandbox with toys. There are also toys and books for kids in the lounge (under the coffee/tea bar table). If you have any questions, please reach out anytime so we can make your visit a wonderful experience! HOT WEATHER INFORMATION Our sanctuary is high up along the forested ridge, which exposes it to fog and cooler offshore breezes. You can visit anytime of the day - the property is over 80% shaded and much cooler in hot weather due to a heavy redwood canopy that serves as a natural air conditioner. The temperature is 6-10F lower (depending on the fog and time of the day) than the weather forecast for Occidental. We also added a 'Splash Zone' under a 1000+ year old redwood tree for pups to enjoy.
