30 MINUTE VISITS AVAILABLE FOR 25%OFF I have been providing kind, professional in-home boarding for dogs in my home for over 15 years. After too many scary calls at local dog parks with my clients babies, I decided to build my own "dog paddock" so we could all stay home and have fun and be safe. Just over 1/2 acre of grassy rolling land with a great sand pit for digging. Natural obstacles and toys in the warmer weather. Located conveniently right on Highway 12 just south of Greenbank between Uxbridge and Port Perry. Only about 12 minutes from Brooklin, 17 minutes to Whitby and 12 minutes from Sunderland I also have an INDOOR sand arena available for anyone that needs indoor training space. ALSO it shows spots not available until 11am BUT contact if you want earlier visit - I can do earlier but there may be horses visible to your dog. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD This fully fenced dog park is surrounded by professionally maintained lanscaping that is nestled in the heart of Unionville. It is beside one of the many walking and bike trails. The lowest and largest area in this dog park sits on a flood plain. You may see a water build up like a pond, which eventually recedes to a layer of an ankle deep water beneath the grass that is not readily visible before it totally dries out. This occurs during the spring thaw and/or after a heavy rain. As such, some guests recommend keeping a pair of rainboots or beach footwear. Your dogs can play in or around it if they want, and it's entirely up to you. While there are no potential hazards, there are mosquiitoes that a bite can cause allergies to some. Mosquitoes are most active between dusk and dawn, specifically around sunrise and sunset. In the Markham area, peak mosquito season runs from May through September, with activity increasing dramatically on warm, humid days when temperatures exceed 10°C
