The land is developed with a focus on a food forest in permaculture, featuring permanent gardens, bees, and chickens (protected in a coop, with fully fenced external section). The land is alive and comfortable, very sunny, and offers several microclimates. The moss trails in the surrounding forest are impressive too. The land is very large and equipped with benches and swings to enjoy the sun and chat. There is private parking and a private entrance to the yard at the back. The village of Val-David is a tourist attraction in itself. People come here for the numerous cultural activities, climbing, forest hiking, mountain biking, the Petit Train du Nord bike path. There are good shows, good local beer, and a well-established artist community.
