55Rex loved sniffing around and exploring a new place. He had some trouble in the tall grass but we expected that since the owner of the property was considerate enough to warn us. She also left fresh drinking water, a towel, hand sanitizer and some trash bags for us! Those definitely came in handy. We’d love to explore this property more with Rex when the weather cools and the leaves start to change :) it’s a wooded area so beware of mosquitoes 🦟 thank you again!
55Catherine's property was beautiful and terrific for exploring with an energetic pup! She provided a water bowl, towel, and water for my pup. Also there is a lead if you worry about your dog not listening. Wonderful area to explore and play fetch!
25I chose her place for off-leash hiking trails. Instead, all trails were blocked by downed trees. She came out and offered us water and poop bags but I had both with me. She proceeded to show me the steep areas and that I could get around to the creek if I climbed over a tree. She continued to follow me around and talk about the downed trees and why she hadn’t been able to get to them. She also spoke about her Airbnb. At that point, I was pissed. Catherine’s listing does not reflect her property. I could have stayed home and hung out in my yard. She said she knew I wasn’t happy because I got quiet. I also got quiet because I didn’t pay you to listen to your problems. I was there for around 45 minutes. Catherine did offer to let me come back at no charge, but I will not be back for all the reasons I mentioned.

55Levi had a great time today. The paths in the woods are perfect for playing fetch. It is open enough to have room to run, but the natural barriers created by the woods and drop offs make it feel secure. We can't wait to visit again.
55Beautiful property. Big open field and trails in the forest. Our dogs loved every second of it and we did too. Cathy provided bowls, water, towels, bags, and hand sanitizer which was an awesome bonus! We will definitely be back!

55I’m 99% sure my dog had the best day of his life at Catherine’s spot. There’s so much room in the open yard to run around, and we had a great time exploring the trails. Kenobi found the creek and ran up and down for an hour. Catherine also left towels and fresh water out for us, which was much appreciated! Will absolutely come back.
55I can’t say enough about my visit. Catherine was kind, thoughtful and very accommodating. This is an amazing place especially if you have a reactive fur baby. Your pet will truly enjoy and feel free at this “Sniff Spot”. 🐕 🐶 🐩 ♥️

“My dog will be kept in the house when you visit however, he has an awareness bark, letting me know when anyone, another pet or critter is on the property. Also, Airbnb guests sometimes bring dogs and go in and out when coming/going. They may let their dog relieve itself. I will let them know if there is a sniffspot reservation and to stay in the side of the house area by their car with their pet on a leash during your sniffspot appointment time. Thank you!”

Farmland Property has two farm fields, Woods with trails. 10 Achres of grass and Salt Creek in back of the house/yard. (Fallen Trees down in trails from last tornado. All pets, teens and children must stay with owner at all times! Stay away from widow makers: Any tree leaned against another which, will fall at some point and could kill any living thing under it when it falls! 10 foot drop off surrounding entire property= wetland/tertuaries: Do not enter due to probable quick sand, per great Lakes fish and game wardens and assigned wetland scientist that frequent property and protect the wetlands. All NW IN wild animals share property. Brown recuse spiders: found on wood. Coyotes, deer and wild turkeys roam throughout the land. Sand cranes, geese, large Crows, Owls, and Midwest birds hang out. Eagles, and Hawks will take small dogs, cats and children. No drugs, marijuana, alcohol while, wandering property with dog on sniffspot.com. If smoking or vaping do not throw butts/litter in yard and not allowed in trails/forest areas only open grass areas. Thank you! Cathy

By appointment only! As of 7-18-'25 All trail entrances are temporarily blocked at this time by fallen trees due to a tornado that came through. I'm sorry for this inconvience. Do not walk under a widow maker! (A tree fallen and hooked onto another tree which, will fall). Kick any logs before picking up. No smoking or vaping in any wooded areas! No littering or butts left anywhere! Pick up after your dog pottys. Must have food to accompany a campfire.

Dear Guest, I love allowing Dog Mom's and Dad's to enjoy my yard. I make sure all my guests have appointments so, when you are using the yard, your time outside is set aside just for you and your dog. I can often see you outside through my windows but, I keep away from the windows because just like the deer that visit, your dog always knows when someone sees them. I want you and your dog to feel it's a safe place for you, just as I do for the deer. So, when I have an Airbnb guest and their dog staying with me inside my home I let everyone know when I have appointments so you, they and myself and my dog can all take our appointed turns outside. I'm glad when your visiting and want you and your dog to have a wonderful time! Thank you for your Appointed bookings and if you need anything, please feel free to ask.
