55The dogs had a great time sniffing around the field and trails. Also thank you for the water bowls, water, and towels.
55Cathy was extremely helpful before my booking and throughout the entire process. I have a rescue pit that is reactive to other dogs. Cathy's place was the perfect spot for us. She provided water, a bowl, a towel and some treats and even offered some add on service options. My dog had a blast running/prancing, sniffing, rolling in the grass (which is one of her favorite activities) and just exploring. We will absolutely be back and hopefully this will become a regular activity for us when the weather is nice.
55Great spot! Lots of space to explore and smell. Catherine was great with communication and completely respected my fearful/reactive gal. Plus she was gracious enough to put some water, bowls and a towel out for us. Definitely recommend 👍🏼

Host replied: Tiffany, Pixie and their friend ( new to the park) were awesome guests! Tiffany communicated very well and it was fantastic that she brought a welcomed guest of her own today. All of them kept all the rules and looked as though they had a good time! Thank you Tiffany and Pixie! I Love having you as guests and recommend you to other park owners!

Dear Guest, I love allowing Dog Mom's and/or dad's to enjoy my yard with me. I make sure all my guests have appointments so, when they are using the yard, their time outside is set aside just for them and their dog. I can often see you out their through my windows but, I keep away from the windows because just like the deer that visit, your dog always knows when someone sees them. I want you and your dog to feel ut's a safe place for you just as I do for the deer. So, when I have an Airbnb guest and their dog staying with me inside my home I let everyone know when I have appointments so you, they and myself and my dog can all take our appointed turns outside. I'm glad when your visiting and want you and your dog to have a wonderful time! Thank you for your Appointed bookings and if you need anything, please feel free to ask. Over time I will add to the amenities. Sincerely and Warm wishes, Catherine J Johnson Cathy

Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.
