55Beautiful spot in horse country! The host was very welcoming. We had a great time exploring the farm.
55Dan was super nice and let Bear and I walk and run around his farm. His horses are so gorgeous lol and they are used to dogs. We will definitely be back!
55First time using Sniffspot and couldn't be more thrilled. The reservation was super easy. It was such a relaxing and picturesque drive coming from Lexington. The Farm is quiet and tranquil, the Horses were curious and friendly. We'll definitely be repeat visitors and feel so lucky to have found this hidden treasure.
55Wonderful first time! The owner was very friendly and helpful and the location was gorgeous! My dogs barked at the horses a bit, but it was their first time seeing horses - I’m hoping that’ll improve with future visits. We’ll definitely be back (If the owner will have us).
55Very friendly owner. In a rush after work to get to the spot in time, I forgot my boots and only had flip flops to walk in. Dan offered me a pair of his own muck boots to use. Can’t beat that service! The farm is really lovely and the dogs had a great time getting acquainted with the horses(through the fence, we didn’t let them in the pasture). All of the pastures had horses that day, which limited the room we had to roam, but it was still a great outing for the dogs. Great spot for an hour of off leash with the dogs.
55We LOVED Dan's horse farm! My Aussie was in tune with his instincts and loved seeing the horses. We played ball and ran in multiple empty horse pastures. The fencing kept my Aussie in, but we kept him on a long line just in case. The horses can be close and curious, so if that's your lingo, this is an amazing location. Dan was very informative and gave a great introduction! 10/10 WILL be back for this leisurely farm experience.
55My corgis had a great time! Very scenic horse farm with large paddocks to play in. The fencing is not technically dog proof so make sure you have some voice control. Will definitely return!
45Dan was very hospitable. He met us to orient us to the accessible areas of the farm. There happened to be a pasture available with no horses, so he allowed me to let the dogs run in there, which was fun. My 50 lb dogs are able to slip under the fence rails easily, so I kept them on a long line when we were walking on the lanes between occupied pastures. The horses are very friendly and curious and came up to the fence to say hello, so if your dog is mellow and you don't mind keeping them on a leash it is an enjoyable place to stroll. My dogs are rambunctious Aussies and were excited about the horses, so the horse encounters were a little stressful for me.
