Welcome! Our place is fully fenced with mesh wire. We have two husky mixes (who you won’t see or probably hear) who love the space and haven’t managed to find any gap in the fences to escape. Once you enter, the whole place is for you to enjoy, including the fenced-in meadow, front and back around the house. Having two reactive dogs, I understand the significance of providing them with a safe space to unwind. We will never come out when you are here without prior communication. Big yard with lots of places to run, sniff, play, and explore! Shady and sunny areas. Yard NEVER muddy. Sloped with big trees and evergreen needles covering dirt. Lots of sticks for carrying and chewing. Most dogs are very interested in my shed. At least 1 bunny lives underneath. If you have a digger, hunter, critter-playing dog, I would love for them to erase my nuisance that eats a few of my plants in my yard. Also, willing to dogsit any delightful dogs at my house if you need someone to watch your dog.

Please note that our property can be difficult to find from the main road. Our house # sign is posted on a tree right outside the driveway and we have a lovely Japanese maple off the street. Hopefully that helps! We have about 1/2 an acre of grassy lawn in a fully fenced area at the front of our 5 acre property. It’s a space that our goats and dogs sometimes hang out in so there are a couple pallets hidden in the grass and a bench. There’s an outdoor water spigot nearby for water play or drinking water for your pup! Let us know if you want a kiddie pool for play, too. We also have a creek in our yard that we offer for an extra fee to sniffspot users. Only available during Spring and Summer :) As another extra we sell farm fresh eggs for $8/dozen. They come unwashed as to protect the bloom of the egg, but we can happily wash them for you if you prefer. Large yard for dogs to run and play.

Very large area for dogs to run and play. Easy parking and entrance to backyard. You can have the back yard to yourself. There is a table, chairs, some toys like tennis balls and a throwing thingy, a large garbage disposal bin to leave poop bags at the entrance gate. Come and enjoy our yard. A 10 X 12 METAL GAZEBO WILL PROVIDE SHELTER FROM THE RAIN.

Pepper's Pasture in Gig Harbor

Beautiful sloped pasture with some woods at the lower end. 1.5 acres. If desired, you can drive right into the pasture and secure the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) loose. It changes by the season. In summer, the grass grows tall and you can enjoy the shade of alders in the lower portion. A seasonal creek runs through it in winter and spring. Your dog may find the scent of deer where they've bedded down at night, though it's unlikely that any will be present for your visit. You will see that I've planted and protected some fruit trees and native plants here and there. A sheltered area allows you to sit in the shade or out of the rain, and that's where you'll also find most amenities, such as toys and water. Access: There are two driveways onto the property. Use the north entry, with the "Pepper's Pasture" sign. After driving up that driveway, you'll see a "Sniffspot" sign on the gate into the pasture. Construction/site work: in spring of '25, you'll see that we are building beside the driveway that leads to the sniffspot.
