Description

Welcome to our sleepy backyard where we have glorious sunsets and fantastic summer greenery! This backyard is almost 100% fenced in with lots of land to run and play. Please feel free to relax in a chair whilst you let your pup run around — just be aware that the spot by the garage is not fenced in at this time. During the spring, our retention pond does fill with water and we do have a creek to the south of our property that isn’t always full. The back of the property can be more wetland during the rainy months, so please be prepared for that. Watch your step as this land does have varying terrain and enjoy spending time in our glorious backyard. ♡

Hazards

HOST NOTE

The yard is uneven — there are holes, hills, and lots of sticks from trees. There is also wildlife that live around the area. I do have a small sliver of wooded area in the back of my property that is not maintained and therefore could have harmful materials (i.e. wood, stones, old refuse, etc.) Please do your best avoid that area. Poison ivy has also been seen in my backyard.

Additional rules

1.) No disturbing any neighbors, other pets, wildlife, etc. when visiting property. I do have a large yard where wild animals do live (this includes skunks, squirrels, birds, rabbits, groundhogs, opossums, and raccoons.) I have seen foxes, deer, and coyotes on my property as well. Please be aware. There are two dogs to the house that is north of mine; please try to limit interactions with them as well for their own peace. 2.) No alcoholic beverages OR illegal substances on my property whatsoever. Marijuana is also not permitted. 3.) Do not sit on the white wooden swing. At this point, it is decoration only. 4.) Please do not touch personal property without permission. Chairs will be placed for sitting and a side table is available to be used as well. The hammock is also available to be used. Please treat personal property with respect. 5.) Please clean up after pet. You may use the garbage bin alongside the house to dispose of your pet’s bagged waste. A water spigot is available to be used if water is needed for pet. Also, please do not litter on yard. 6.) I do have a bonfire pit on the premises. Unless expressed permission, please do not use. 7.) Please do not use our deck at this time — this includes sitting and walking on it. Respect my privacy and refrain from looking inside. I do have three Ring cameras that monitor the driveway, backyard, and front door.
