Playful Pups Retreat – Hershey Road Dog Splashpad A private, dog-only water play experience designed for safe, enriching fun. Treat your dog to a one-of-a-kind Splashpad experience at Playful Pups Retreat. This clean, professionally maintained space is designed specifically for dogs to enjoy safe water play, cooling off, and enrichment in a private setting. Guests also have access to a large grass yard for additional running and exploration. The Splashpad Sniffspot yard at our Hershey Road location is available on Saturdays and Sundays only, offering a quiet, self-service environment while our facility is closed. Please note that this is a dog-only Splashpad. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to run or play on the Splashpad. While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Clear operating instructions are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. Oakley, our huge and dog-friendly Great Pyrenees, rules the roost here! We have a full fenced large second backyard ready for dog paws to rip around in. There are trees that offer shade and homes for birds and squirrels. Our chickens are free range but can be put inside their coop and our 4 cats are agile at escaping the chase of their fur covered foes. We are centrally located. Easy access with off street parking. **FOUR PERSON MAXIMUM PER VISIT** No one under the age of 18 is permitted on the property at any time during Sniffspot visits. This includes infants in carriers.

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard

Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.

Does your dog have the zoomies? Bring him to my place and let your fur baby run around and get the zoomies out. I have 3 pasture sections that they can use to run and run and run and run and run! I am about 1.5 miles from route 283 so if you are traveling and need a sniff spot, I am right here!

Fully fenced, well kept dog play area! Children’s pool and hose on site for water loving pups! Flower gardens to sniff around in. Private and fun! If you show up with more dogs and people than on your reservation you will be asked to leave! Tell your friends to setup an account and submit ALL CURRENT VACCINE RECORDS TO SNIFFSPOT! Message me for pricing. **You must clean up after your dog!! I cannot scour 2 acres in between visits to ensure nothing was left behind. This property is 6.5 acres with a 2 acre fenced in yard. 5 minutes off Pennsylvania turnpike and interstate 83. Quiet setting back off a dead end road. A 4 acre meadow is in back if you’d like to use it but it is outside the fence. Nothing but woods beyond that field. Toys & water if I’m home. Or join our membership for even more peRks!You are welcome to sit by the fire ring or on the shaded swing while your pups run. Please keep dogs off the porches. My dogs see them and go crazy. I sometimes have guests with dogs who compete in agility trials. I will ensure their dogs are inside during your visit. A hose for water is out back by the porch.
