Description

Welcome to the largest fully fenced dog park around Tucson! We have two acres of fully fenced front and back yard. Even small dogs can’t get out (maybe 5 lbs and up?)! Fencing is split into two areas, like a front yard and a back yard, with a gate opening to connect them. So if you need dogs to be separated, that’s possible! (Each area is about the same size) Plenty of bushes and wildlife to sniff and discover and a peaceful setting with unobstructed mountain views for you. The grounds are dirt and smaller rocks. Desert land, basically. Just so you know, it's a dirt road coming in, your car WILL get dusty! Kiddie pool is in enclosed, gated area in the backyard. Enclosed for pet safety. If you want to use it, just open the little gate. You can ask us to fill it prior to your arrival if you intend to use it. Pool is on gravel, not dirt, and the walkway around it is gravel, so it won't get muddy. There are cameras on the property, FYI, for security and for watching wildlife. If you have male dogs, we know they will pee on stuff. If you wouldn't mind, please try to get them to pee on bushes and not our tires and buildings, etc at first, lol! I have 2 more acres in back that are not fenced that you are welcome to walk your dog on LEASHED. I also have a small courtyard (pictured) you can use if you have an extremely tiny dog and are worried they will get out. (There's a prickly pear in there, take note) That’s about it! I’ll meet with you on the first visit and let you know any needed details about the property. I won’t bother you after that… I’m not anti-social but realize most probably don't want to socialize and that’s totally fine! Want you to be fully comfortable! See you soon!

Hazards

This is the Arizona Sonoran desert. Like anywhere else in Tucson, there are rattlesnakes and other snakes possibly present. We've had Gila monsters (big red and black lizard) on property and have seen toads. There is almost NO cactus, just one little prickly pear that is surrounded by wire fencing and a cholla by the side of the house. There are no cactus bits on the ground. There are ground squirrel burrows. I suppose if your dog is running with zoomies and doesn't see a hole, that could be a hazard.

Kelly was so gracious and kind!!! She invited us stay longer, and was so flexible and understanding in changing dates. Dogs enjoyed it immensely. Drove there in a Prius so though it is a dirt road, it’s definitely fine :)

This space is a bit of a drive if you’re not in north Tucson or Marana, but so worth it! Our dogs had a blast, and ran around to their hearts content. Kelly is a great host, very polite, kind, and an excellent communicator

Kelly has an amazing property which my dog loved! There was lots of space to roam and play and the space is clean. There’s even a kiddie pool for your dog! I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be visiting again!

Our dogs had a wonderful time exploring Kelly’s land. One of our dogs sniffed all the things, the other had plenty of room for fetch with the chuck-it. The was our first experience using sniffspot. Kelly was a wonderful host, and we’d love to do this again!

My dog had the time of her life at Kelly's! She roamed, sniffed, and ran happily around the two separate areas. The kiddie pool was filled in for her and she excitedly went in and out in joyous glee! The fencing is excellent and the yard is clean. There's a bowl of water available for your dog, and a pooper scooper tool for you if you prefer that over bags. My dog had SO much fun! It's a perfect place to practice recall and train, too! On top of all that, the view is amazing and it was peaceful. If you have a dog that loves to sniff and track, you have to visit Kelly's spot. I guarantee an awesome time!

Kelly is amazing and so are her 2 acres! A little hard to find, but is well worth it. Kelly’s instructions are perfect. The yard is clean and spacious. The fencing is great also. Check it out!
