55Great space for dogs and humans! Especially when it’s wet outside. Love the option of going in through the back for my reactive dogs and being able to use all the different toys and equipment, from balls to snuffle mats to agility equipment. For humans, the bathroom was a huge plus and being close to places to grab lunch completed our trip to Sac. Already booked our next visit! Just wish we lived closer!
55We loved how interactive and truly dog-oriented that place is. It's low key, there's plenty of toys and agility equipment and the staff is lovely. Our favorite thing was the robotic treat dispenser, which gives out treats at random. 😂 After our visit, Oliver was so tired that he didn't even bark on our way home. 😂 As Arnold liked to say, "I'LL BE BACK":)

55I love this spot! It’s a great alternative when it’s either too cold/hot outside for the dogs. I’ve taken my 2 dogs (a mini goldendoodle and lab) twice and plan on coming more often. Terra and the other employees in the store are so nice. They make sure you and your pups are enjoying yourselves. Last time I came, her trainer was running a little over so the larger room was occupied. However, she allowed us to stay a little over our time once the room was free which was very considerate. Would highly recommend this spot!
55This place was perfect. They provided a huge secure play space, with so many fun toys and activities for our dog. She made us feel comfortable with our very shy and nervous puppy and helped us with ways to make him less reactive.
55Have visited twice with canine baby, and hope to have more coming up! Our doggo is a spirited, opinionated terrier in the Pit category. She is young and her manners are rough-around-the-edges. Firstly, I love the fact that to enter the play area we walk through the shop area. This is a perfect opportunity to work on impulse control and regulation, and for the play to be a reward for working hard to get there! The play area has marvelously springy and high-quality rubber surface. Tons of interesting toys and equipment to provide a rotating offering of enrichment activities to exercise body and mind. The shop has unusual and interesting supplies. Tara, the proprietor, is easy to work with and is very accommodating in sharing the space and her training experience. A total joy and privilege to have this spot in Sacramento! Highly Recommend!
55We had a great time with the pups running around! There are other dogs and a kitty in the store that were friendly.
55Just had our first visit! We booked for 4 dogs for 1.5 hours to celebrate my dog’s 12th birthday with her lil circle of friends. They all had so much fun exploring, sniffing, and getting treats. They aren’t huge toy dogs but there was still a lot to do. An hour probably would’ve been plenty of time. Terra was so lovely and helpful and the space was fully clean and ready for us on arrival. I will definitely be back to Paws N Play to shop and hopefully to bring foster dogs to train and explore ❤️

That’s why we’ve created an ideal environment for both group classes and private lessons, especially for our furry friends who find regular pet stores overwhelming. Our Sniffspot, located within our pet retail and dog wash center, is designed with your dog’s needs in mind. What We Offer: • A safe, welcoming space for all dogs, including those with severe behavioral issues. Reactive dogs can enter through the back to ensure a comfortable experience. • Attentive staff ready to provide the space and respect your dog needs. • A rotating selection of engaging play items. • An intriguing scent wall to stimulate your dog’s natural instincts (items subject to change based on availability). Plus, for those looking to refine their pup’s manners around felines, our resident cat is dog-friendly and an excellent distraction trainer! There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in (we fill the pool every day, but can get the extra to have it freshly filled for your pup) Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! We now have a porta potty for guests!! There are sheep in adjacent pasture certain times of the year but there is a 50+ foot buffer zone fenced off to keep sheep away from the fence.
