Hi! I'm Sami Micelli and I help manage my family's micro farm on the West coast in Canada. My frenchie canine bestie was Billie and our Sniffspot is named after her. She passed away in February suddenly and our yard is missing that lovely dog energy! If you are looking for a private fenced yard for dogs on Vancouver Island, you have the perfect place! The yard is green in the spring, summer & fall. It's rainy and grey in the winter but still a charming outdoor spot for dog exercise, play and relaxation. Indoor bookings are currently not available. Hi! I'm Sami Micelli. I am a chartered HR practitioner & entrepreneur turned DJ. I launched a healing tourism campaign with my frenchie Billie. We traveled between Canada, Argentina and Mexico to help heal a violent injury to my spine. During this process, we manifested land in Qualicum Beach with my family. Billie recently passed away so the yard is quiet and lonely. I am excited to offer guests a beautiful space for canines to run around and play! We hope you and your dog(s) enjoy your time in our green space!

Welcome to our Sniffspot in beautiful Merville, British Columbia! We offer secure, fenced in parking and a double gated entry for the safety of your pups! Our fencing is 6.5 feet in height surrounding the entire yard and we offer plenty of activities for your pup to enjoy, including a designated digging area! Maximum of 3 dogs per visit unless approved by host in advance. We live on the property but our home is not near or visible from the dog yard and there are no surrounding neighbours or animals. Fresh water, treats, towels, poop bags and toys included. Dogs must remain on leash when not within the gated areas of the yard. Feel free to enjoy some fruit from our beautiful trees while you and your pup enjoy our safe and extremely private yard. Access to the dog yard is at the end of Frances Rd rather than at the residential address listed. New toys and equipment being added on an ongoing basis. Discounted pricing ($11/dog/hour) offered on all bookings prior to July 1, 2026. Rate will then increase to $15/dog/hour.
