55Rick’s place was nothing short of amazing! Going across country, this was well worth the drive off the beaten path! My dogs were in heaven able to run free, explore, and swim!! And for me, to forget the highway grind and breathe peace and quiet and take in the views. Can’t thank you enough, Rick.
55The spot was excellent! Clean and large. My dog absolutely loved the pond; this is the only place he has immediately hopped in the water! My other dog loved walking the whole place sniffing. The owner was incredible, he has really thought of everything including maps of the boundaries and trails, dog wash station, and toys and bowls. Will return!
55This place is beautiful and my two boxers loved playing around in the pond. Rick was a great host, he met me and gave me a map of the property and even had toys, water/bowls & a wash station & towels for cleaning the pups up before putting them in the car. We stayed close to the pond since they were having so much fun but there are several other fields/cut trails that we could have explored. We will most definitely be coming back soon!
55Rick was so nice and met us since it was our first time - his explanations were great! My pup LOVED running through the woods (and getting covered in little burrs, lol). Lots of great land, an awesome pond, and plenty of smells for him to explore. AND and awesome wash station for the end! I will keep working on my dog’s recall so we don’t have to use a drag line, since he seemed magnetically pulled to the edges of the property hah. Great Sniffspot! Highly recommend

Description

We have a 30 acre tree farm located at the base of Sugarloaf Mt., away from roads, houses and people. Very secluded, with a 1/2 acre spring fed pond for swimming as well as groomed trails for sniffing, hiking and training. We are also a Lab Rescue foster family for young puppies and help train for their next fur-ever homes. Our place can also accommodate for upland and waterfowl training. We are as well associated with Buckeystown, Poolsville and Peachtree Veterinary hospitals.

Proceed down the long driveway to the end, 1/4 mile, and turn on gravel driveway to the left. I do require all first time guests meet to discuss property lines and will meet you in the parking area. If you have a reactive dog(s), please leave them in the car for our brief visit.
