Welcome! This is a great spot if you want to park close to where your dog plays- it’s just on the other side of the fence. We live in a safe, quiet area and our yard is well lit at night - perfect for dog visitors later in the evening. We have lots of dog toys, fresh water , comfortable seating for humans - a great place to chill for an hour while your dogs get their sniffs on! Please remember not to go into the playhouse , as there are probably spiders or other critters. Welcome to our fully fenced area! We have lots of shade under the tree and patio. There is street parking available and side gate access. Access to sprinklers is available as well. There is no visibility to the neighbors’ backyards or into our house, so you’ll have privacy. Please note that the neighbor has dogs that bark intermittently. There is a good sized digging area available in the back corner by the tree- where there is dirt and leaves instead of grass. Feel free to adjust or move the umbrella. The main light at night is a motion sensor, so walk towards the patio if it happens to turn off. Any other questions, feel free to reach out! Hose/ Sprinkler instructions: Feel free to switch the hose attachments; we have sprinklers and a nozzle. On the control box at the spigot, turn the wheel to Auto. Hit “Manual/Clear”. It defaults to Station 1, the left hose, but you can change it to the right hose by pushing Station. Then push “+” to get the amount of time you want the water to run. Hit Manual/Clear or turn the wheel to Off to stop the flow.

Hi! My husband and I have a home on a third of acre on a small quiet cul-de-sac in the hills of La Mesa. The backyard is very large and is terraced, so it’s great for exercising dogs or sniffing around (lots of great smells). There are also many fruit trees you are welcome to (orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and fig). We also have a pergola with 4 chairs and a fire pit. Lots of shade is provided by our pecan and jacaranda trees most of the year. The backyard ground is a mixture of brick pavers, gravel, and mulch. We have several hoses throughout the yard that you’re welcome to use as much as you want. There is an empty koi pond that can be used as a splash pool for dogs too with our hoses. We also have outdoor electrical outlets and strong WiFi if needed. It’s a hillside home so there are great views of Mt. Helix and even the ocean on clear days. It’s a wonderful quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors! Important: We do not feel comfortable with first time dog-to-dog introductions via Sniffspot’s playmate finder feature. Thank you!

Mary Puppins Dog Training, Boarding and Charm School is available for pups to enjoy off leash and stress free play. Toys, ball pit, agility course and ample zoomie space for your dog(s) to make their visit “practically perfect in every way”! Please message if you would like the agility equipment put out for your visit. As a dog boarder, I may have dogs in the outdoor kennel. They will have radio on and be kept secure inside with air conditioning/ heating as needed. Please respect their space and do not attempt to enter the kennel. Taylor pond is a 5 acre pond located in the heart of Poway. The amenities include a grass yard and yard in the back filled with wood chips and a eucalyptus grove as well of course as the pond. Keep in mind when you bring your dog we turn to work in the yard and also rent out a building in the back to Airbnb. So please make sure your dog is friendly with people.
