35I gave it 3 stars because while it was a beautiful place and the host was extremely responsive, finding where the 8 aces was located proved to be impossible. There were no signs other than entering to let you know you found the Sniffspot. Even the “Park here” sign (that, by the way, was a yard sign meant to be put in the ground) was tilted downward to where I drove right passed it because it was placed in a grated table, I tilted it back up. The land had, from what I could see and count, 5 houses including the hosts. All within 1/4-1/2 acre of each other. I wasn’t going to walk, or have my dog, walk on other peoples property. On the property I KNEW was part of the Sniffspot, there was a large pond that my dog enjoyed. It didn’t have easy in/out access but that didn’t stop him - only me. In the pictures I saw decks or pier like decking that I would have enjoyed sitting on or jumping off of with my dog but I didn’t see them — until I left, located at another smaller pond on another piece of property that had another house on it. There was absolutely no way of knowing if this was included. My suggestions moving forward: 1) Put the parking sign in the ground. 2) Put signs “Don’t forget here!” or “This area is included” if it appears to be near someone else’s property, house or even across your own driveway. 3) Move the white bench closer to the pond. It was a bit awkward sitting at a downward angle, 50-100 feet from the water feeling a bit unsteady. All in all - my dog had fun. I didn’t stay but 30 minutes because there wasn’t anything else for him to do. He swam a few laps, walked two laps and was done. I definitely didn’t see any hiking trails or 8 acres BUT I could have missed them and I hope I did.

55My dog had fun! It was nice to have a waste station since I ran out to bags, too. My GPS took me to a dead end..if you get to the “end state maintenance” sign, turn left then turn right. You’ll see sniffspot signs.
55Beautiful property! My dog’s a novice swimmer so she had a hard time with the pond but still had an absolute ball in the water and running around the property!
55What a wonderful spot! Our dog had the best time in and out of the water. It was nice to have somewhere to sit while she was running around with the stick. There was some shade also, which I appreciated. We'll be back!
