55The fenced yard is open and fully visible from any spot in the yard so you can just chill while the dogs run. The trails in the unfenced areas are fun to explore as well. We could hear other people and animals while back there so if you have a dog that’s recall isn’t great with distractions around this wouldn’t be a good area to let you dog explore off leash. There was a water bowl, toys, and trash spot with poop bags available for use
55This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was great! Our dogs loved tearing around the fenced area and exploring the trails. The property was easy to find and we appreciated the little extras especially the water/water bowl. Thank you!
55Daisy had a great time playing fetch and sniffing. She doesn’t stray far from me so I took her on the trail and she loved running in and out of the trail. The yard was perfect for playing fetch. Signs for parking and entrance were very well located and easy to see. I did end up bringing her own chuck it ball just because she will play more with it. Host does provide one and some awesome frisbees.
55Easy to find and my pup had a great time running around the large property.
55We had so much fun! Great big fenced in yard to run and run. Loved that we could go out of the yard to run around on some trails. The pups loved it! Signs were helpful, easy to find the house. Loved the treats and toys. Such a great spot!
55Easy to find the parking spot and the entrance. The fenced backyard was very clean and also prepared toys, dog treats and bottled waters. We mostly spent the time in the wooded area. My dogs are not sure for recall, so they were on leashed all the time. The wooded area was clean. We heard dog barking, chicken and neighbor'voice and noise, but we didn't see anything from the woods. I read the description before headed there, but totally forgot about off limited area and the host mentioned me while we were there, sorry. My dogs enjoyed in the wood. Thanks!!
55Very friendly hosts. Beautiful fenced area with extra wooded trails. Highly recommended.
55Great visit again!
55Such a beautiful and fun spot with friendly and hospitable hosts. The fenced yard was clean and easily accessible from the clear parking directions. I feared that the trails might be a mud pit but they were not at all and offered a wonderful sniff break to all the running around. Very happy to have found this as a last minute booking. Definitely want to go back soon!
55What a great spot this is! Plenty of room to run those zoomies out, very clean, water and some toys kindly provided by the host. Parking and access are straightforward. We used the trails out behind the fenced acre as well, and it was fun for the dogs to have a break from romping to sniff and explore. We will be back!

Description

Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced and there are about 3+ acres of woods that have a trails throughout that we are constantly trying to add onto. Access to the backyard will be through the double gates on the south side of the house. Access to the trails can be either gate along the back fence. We just ask that you close whichever gate you use upon entrance and exit. The trails currently are just shy of 1/4 of mile looping back to the gates of the fenced in backyard. We do have a seasonal pond in the woods that we plan on trying to expand access too (it’s a work in progress). The fence is 3.5 feet high split rail with chain link very secure, the back portion of fencing is strictly chain link same height but acts as a natural looking wild fence. Dogs can play ball, sniff around, and run off lease in the fenced yard. Dogs with good recall can be off leash on the trails and run throughout. We do have neighbors where our woods end that are mostly fenced but some do not have fencing (which is why recall is needed). There is no delineation between the neighbor to the north’s huge pasture area which would be off limits. Please enjoy yourself and let us know if you have any ideas to add to the property. The pictures were taken during the winter months, the property and trails are so much prettier during the spring through fall months. Thank you for stopping by.k

We are a family of 4. I am a vet tech assistant, my husband is a fire captain and we have twin teenage boys. We have 3 dogs (2 labs and a French bull dog), 2 cats and a tortoise. Our property is located off the Burn Road in Arlington and is 5 acres, 1 of which is fully fenced.. We want to share our place with others so that they feel safe with their pets.

Enjoy our quiet rural setting on our 5+ acres with our fully fenced 1 acre play area for your dogs. Our beautiful very scenic Barkley Park sits on over 5 acres. A little over an acre is securely and newly fenced for your dogs to free run. Our large acreage is open for you to explore and walk as well. Enjoy different places to sit and take in the landscape and open spaces of nature while your dogs gets to play and exercise. A lovely place for a picnic. Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced that are for Zone Fetching off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe quiet private property. No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. If interested in professional pet photography. Inquire with us for details. Portrait sessions are offered on our location. As well as European Organic Wild Antique Sourdough and artisan bread loaves. Organic Dog treats of the same recipe are available to purchase. Some weekends we have a bakery table of Organic European Sourdough loaves, baguettes, fresh scones, cookies, picnic lunch sandwiches, and of course pup treats. An occasional family member might stop by our house unannounced, and deliveries might occur. Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'.
