You can also rent our large 7 acre field to run your dogs. However, it is not fully fenced and dogs are required to be on voice control or a long line. You may see other dogs in this area.
At Argus Ranch Dog Sports & Training Center we offer a wide variety of training classes. You can view all of the class options on our website www.argusranch.com or email training@argusranch.com
Our facility has river access on the property. It is an amazing place for the dogs to swim and really enjoy the river! It is best from late spring to late fall!

Area was pretty small and there were patrons of the dog training facility trying to use the area as well. The fence has a sign saying the area is for use of the folks that have worked with the ranch before and is only to be used in 10 mins increments. One lady came by and thought we were hogging the area and said "I guess I'll go find somewhere else", after having walked around waiting for us to leave. Even though we explained we had booked 1.5 hrs through Sniffspot. Other reviews mention this same issue, it's unfortunate nothing is being done about it.
Good spot
Our first Sniff Spot visit. My dog loved having the freedom to explore and run across the field, while occasionally engaging with the two horses in the adjoining pasture. It was nice knowing he was secured with the fully fenced “paddock”.
Amazing place with lots of space.
Please ENTER THROUGH 212TH WAY SE or better yet Google search ARGUS RANCH! Google took me to a different entrance and I was just on the other side of the fence. Needs Proper signage. There were people with their dogs inside the paddock during our rental and I bet they were from that dog training center. They had no idea so I can't blame them. Hosts never responded when I needed assistance.
The area was very underwhelming, didn't feel like a full acre. Make sure to bring your own water and toys. Access to the river is an extra and it's away from the paddock. Messaged the owner twice for more information on river access and they never responded to me. We also had a random person show up trying to get in the paddock while we were there and our time wasn't even over. Otherwise, its near a national park so that was cool
The regular Sniffspot is nothing to write home about. The river though? That’s worth it.
Nice spot, plenty of room for a dog to run! However, when I entered the address into Google Maps, it directed me to the wrong side of the property. You need to enter from 212th Way SE.
Lovely clean and grassy field— overgrown in some spots just means more for my dog to explore. There’s a horse nearby and and a watchful rooster, both were visible but not accessible. Bring your own water. Fencing is secure, the paddock could use a Sniffspot sign because there’s another nearby and I wasn’t sure which is which.
Overgrown and gate not very secure. If you go on the weekend there could be a lot of other dogs walking by. Bring water and water bowls.
