This very private area has a natural dip from the main road that protects puppers from wandering into unknown territory. Two fields of 4 acres each are available for the sniff spot; one field has 7 baby apple trees and the other has a very large, flat area for the dogs to run. Feel free to park in the main house driveway and walk your dogs across the street to enjoy our little haven from city life. You should have both flea and tick medications up-to-date since deer and groundhogs often walk through the fields in the early morning and evening. Please bring your own water for the dogs, though a hose is available in the main house driveway as well. I hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone, My partner Wendy and I have a fully fenced (6 ft tall), private backyard (~1,700 sq ft) in East Liberty a few blocks from the Target and in the middle of the East End of Pittsburgh. We don’t use the backyard as much as we should, so we’re offering it to you and your pets! And our indoor cats, Binks and Tonks, will really enjoy seeing your dogs run around back there. Fields and woods and a stream: Oh my!

Our peaceful, private and beautiful 100+ acre farm is a haven for dogs and their human companions alike! Acres of open fields, trails through the woods, and a lovely valley with a stream meandering through are all that await you and your four legged friends! Maps and descriptions, along with a cooler containing snacks and water are provided upon your arrival. It is gorgeous out here in all seasons- plenty of shade in the summer, and wide open spaces for dogs to run free. So much to enjoy and explore here- come and see for yourself! Note: we do have 2 geese which may be heard somewhat in the distance. However, you will not see them nor any other domestic animals while here, since the Sniffspot is quite far away from the homestead.
