The Town of Barnstable Dog Park Regulations General Rules: • The Dog Park is open 7 days a week sunrise to sunset. • Parking is for Dog Park patrons only. • Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated and wear a collar affixed with tags at all times. • Dog exhibiting excessive barking and/or aggressive, intimidating or dangerous behavior must be removed from the park. • Female dogs in heat shall not use the Dog Park. • No other animals besides dogs are allowed within the Dog Park. • Alcohol, smoking or E-cigarettes are not allowed at the Dog Park. • No commercial activities or solicitation allowed without prior permission. • Dogs must be leashed before entering and after leaving any fenced area. • All gates must be closed at all times except when entering and exiting.",Owners/handlers:,"• Must be at least 16 years of age. Any person under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult. • Must closely supervise and control their dog within the Park at all times. • Must stop dog from digging and fill in all holes dug in the pea stone. • Must have no more than three dogs under the supervision of any one person. • Must immediately pick up and properly dispose of pet waste. Within the fenced areas: • No children 10 or under are permitted. • No dogs under the age of three months are permitted. • To avoid injury, prong, pinch or spiked collars are not allowed with the exception of the designated training area. • Training treats and dog toys are not allowed with the exception of the designated training area. • Food/beverages, glass containers, strollers, bicycles and children’s toys are prohibited.
